The few times I have gotten thru (mostly solo,rest of my team gets booted),there are huge 7+ footers who shoot lights out, super fast and full court press stealing.These kinds of people are just tryin to run up their stats and it takes away the fun of the game,it'll happen tho. The thing about the reach in is when u hav 99 ball security u should only get ripped up once and the defender has to hav 99 steal they hav to get lucky to rip u up if u hav 99security
I agree with the steal attempts. I get stripped 75% of the time and I get hacked. My friends reach in all game and play fullcourt press but I still win. It pisses me off that u can get picked off so easily without a reach in being called.

I don't think it's solely based on the game; most kids just want to drive the lane and try to hit some fancy dunk. Most reviews say the opposite: that nba live is the "arcadey-type game." The only thing I really hate about the online is that half-second lag between the time you input a command and the time it's executed. It makes playing defense next to impossible, especially when a human controlled player will just run around back and forth since you can't keep up.

I hate cheezers. I just played against a 99 overall rated 7'5" center who reached in on me up the court (which annoyingly worked cause I'm only a 58), called for the ball all the time and did fancy crosses to get to the hoop. He got like 2 boards and no rejections but 60 points.
i dont think its possible its not supposed to be an oop when it hits the backboard i think its just because of the position of u n the player who has to catch it n thn it kinda glitches like that

this is why i don't play 2k online, cuz ppl just take the fun out of it. they reach, spin, and force the ball in the paint all day long. the game is better offline, especially my player mode.
i think 2k makes u quite cause my connections is a internet cord that's plugged into the computer and it says i have a network problem when my connections is 100 percent

I agree man. More than half the time I play against someone else, it's the most irritating thing. Full court press, double/triple teams and reach-ins all game long. Dumbest thing I've ever seen. 2K has generally provided the most realistic games, why not play it realistically? Most will just say, if it can be done, why not do it (even justifying glitches and cheating). So, where does the brunt of the problem fall? With the players, or with the game creators?

well you can set your own sliders for the fauls I've set mine for 90 on reaching, but I don't suppose it works on online
