I like the recent price hikes. It has controlled my need to buy frags.
I've had perfumes for a long time but I fully got into the hobby at 2020 and seeing the prices from then to now... It's pretty crazy here in Malaysia. Even discounter are charging high prices.
The clones are thriving with Designer greed
The prices of designer and niche perfumes in Bangladesh is always very expensive but in Malaysia its much cheaper.
Bought Bleu de Chanel Parfum 150 ml from the Chanel boutique shop for 165 USD even the price for Sauvage Elixir 60 ml costed me around 109 USD.There are so many genuine sellers in Malaysia now selling authentic perfumes plus you have all retail stores as well.
I work for a perfume company. N we work on competition stuff... Roja cost for juice is around 40 to 60$ packaging not sure... Hence that was a reason I stepped back from buying started to feel conned
That’s why I have a big enough collection I never have to purchase any of these ever again! 😊

Designer perfumery is having probably its worst ever creatively period. Ambroxin bombs copying each other. All Chanel's, Diors, Hermes included. This community has a lot to be blamed for.

PDM's are terribly overpriced and overrated. BDC also doesn't make any sense 200 usd to smell like shower gel lol

Nishane fragrances are one of the best quality and longevity wise in my humble opinion. Whether the fragrance is good or bad you can never complain about the quality, longevity and performance. You cannot say that about Creed, Roja and Tom ford to name a few. I would never pay their laughable prices like I use to. Experience in the fragrance game helps. Sample sample sample always. No shame in buying dupes and clones. Ive been buying middle eastern fragrances for the last year and I am much happier. I love this video brother. Keep it up because there some fragrance houses designer and niche stealing from people.

Aventus is definitely overpriced considering Mystery for Him is like $50 for 60ml. check this one out it's basically the new Aventus, performs better & smells better than the latest batches. not a clone the real Aventus DNA straight from the source.

I’ll occasionally buy a full bottle of the real thing if I reallyyy like the fragrance.
Most of the time I just get clones, some are crap, but some you just can’t beat for the price- these companies are gouging consumers like crazy. It costs like less than $5 to produce a cologne and they charge us hundreds of dollars- it’s bs.
…Chanel tops any middle eastern country, any niche and most other designers always…Chanel is Chanel…it has a long and storied history in fashion and fragrance…the eastern fragrances are cheap, that is their calling-card…they may offer value for money but it’s cheapskate money…niche houses just do whatever the hell they want, usually to our detriment…and Chanel is still the top-shelf design house…
Prada Lhomme deserves to be overpriced as its sophisticated and classy.
