Listen to her rendition of the Flower Duet. She sang it with Corlea Botha, who began her singing career in her pre-teens. Amira more than holds her own in this beautiful performance!
Maastricht in the Nederlands is a beautiful town, I've been there, but a lot of the Greek temples, and statuary are fibreglass, just put up for Andre 's shows. He hols them each year. As you can see they are very popular.

Wonderful reaction! Thank you! Amira is a phenomenal vocalist, and Andre Rieu is a phenomenal violinist / conductor! He has been referred to as the modern-day Johann Strauss. In all the performances I've ever seen by him, I have NEVER seen him even look at a piece of sheet music! All I can surmise is that he has a perfect photographic memory of his entire repertoire! You should react to some of his own video performances. I know you would be amazed!
Amira is a gift from God.what an amazing voice.I see that people take a break for the cause,it helps with copyright issues.Amira has a heart of Gold, she.lived in South Africa,and donates half the money she makes on her songs ,goes to building playgrounds in South Africa,her organization has built 18 playgrounds,as of December 2022.She has a heart of Gold.May God always be with her,what a beautiful person she is!
Thank you for your nice reaction.This performance took place in Maastricht Netherlands,shortly after Amira was invited by Andre Rieu to attend one of his workshops in London.When Amira had won 'Holland's Got Talent'up till that point,she had received no vocal coaching or training what so ever. Amira taught herself to sing and by watching and singing along with videos of Maria Callas and Andrea Bocelli on U Tube and also mimmicing their mouth movements. And so a new rising 'STAR' was born, the likes of which had never been seen or heard before.Reguards from, Michael Jonathan Lewis,R D P, Johannesburg,South Africa.

In contrast you might like Little Drummer Boy, as a more recent performance with the Mzansi Youth Choir. Alvin's link to O Sole Mio, mentioned below, is excellent, sung about two years after this performance.
Unfortunate it's a playback performance, so for any Amira connoisseur low ranked and vocally forgettable.
