I've had two mini dachshunds since they were both 3 months old, they're 17 now. They've been the best dogs their entire lives.

Just lost my little girl. I am watching to remind myself how wonderful it is to have a mini dachshund.
Sorry for your loss. My Ginger passed away 3 years ago and miss her every day. She made it to 16 1/2 years.
@@DavidGCG My Fifi made it to 18, she was my third dachshund, but the one that passed away last fall was only 8, way to early for her to go. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
Cherish every second! My boy passed on almost two years ago at the the wonderful age of 20. My life changed forever the day I first held him and it changed the day I had to say goodbye. Doxies are precious.
I cannot begin to imagine the pain you went through. I just wanted to send you hugs and condolences. Despite it being two years ago, I know the heartache must still be hard some days. Our beloved yorkies are getting on a bit now and we dread what we know will eventually come. Love from the UK. X

We love them like our own children and our daughters love them as much as they love us. Our fur babies are now 11 and 13 so hopefully many years left yet but I just wanted to reach out to you because I felt your love for him and your sorrow through your message. My lil’ brindle was named Hobbs, he was 19 when he passed, my wife and I got him right after we married. He was our first born, we have had two children since then but he was always right beside me. When he passed in his sleep I was relieved, and happy that he had a great life and peaceful exit. But when I sit on the couch without him, it’s not the same….
@@iamsontavaman5760 it's tough when they spent their entire lives with you and give so much love and joy. Missing them is such an understatement. We spread all our four boys and girls ashes together, was hard going back to put flowers and spend time there last week but I feel such relief that I didn't die first and they were in someone else's care because only a true owner knows their pets inside out. Accept my condolences my friend 🤗

Dachshunds are Incredibly, Intuitive, and very sweet I owned Four in my life But they passed away. It’s been over 20 years now and I remember them just like yesterday They will always be in my heart. And never die. I think of them all the time. I think it’s one of the most difficult things in life is to loose 😂your beloved pet . But they brought me so much joy and happiness all those years 🤣
Amazing he is not immediately needing to go potty, but patiently waits.
He is adorable, so innocent and trusting. His human is his entire world. It looks to me as though his human is deserving of his love and trust.

Very comical how his back legs got left behind and then he seemed to suddenly remember them & pulled them into the snuggle bed ! How funny !

As someone who's had two great dachshunds in the past and has a dachshund/poodle mix, there are VERY few things cuter than a Weiner dog puppy!

I have had three Doxies over the years and that was the routine for everyone of them. I love my Doxies.

@@poopsiekins2732 Right now I have a 2 yr. old female, standard Doxie and Basset Hound mix. So much more Dox than hound. She is rolled up in her Doxie ball sleeping position right by my side.

Mac is absolutely adorable! I used to have a family of six mini Dachsies, I have one left, one of the granddaughters, I honestly can't imagine my life without a mini Dachsie.

They are called “Cozy Cave” dog beds.
Doxies love a burrow to sleep in. My doxie beagle mix always loves to burrow under the covers whenever he comes in to sleep with me. That’s why that is such a good bed for a doxie.

Mac is still a puppy, so he needs lots of sleep to be able to enjoy himself all day. Lots of running, playing and loving on his family. 🐾❤️🐾 He is just too cute! 🥰

This is such a true representation of mini Doxie mornings!!! Our boys are 17 weeks and this is pretty much their routine too ! We get up at 6am they stay in their beds till at least 7.30! Then they have zoomies in the garden for 15 minutes, breakfast then more 💤
No walkies till way after mid morning snooze 💤

Nothing sweeter than weenie pups. I have had the pleasure of raising 2 dapples, 1 jet black and 1 blue. Sadly, they have all crossed the rainbow bridge but did live to nearly 16.😇
Gorgeous little fella. Please always make sure Mac is in the elevator before you go in. I saw a video once where the dog went in last and the door shut on his lead. The dog was still on the other side of door and as the elevator went up the dog was being strangled and lifted up. Luckily someone saw the dog and cut the leash. Could have been a tragic loss. ♥
I just washed my 2 inherited Dachshunds yesterday. Used twice the recommended dog shampoo. Wore gloves and washed all parts of their body, even the rear and weiner. Dried them completely dry with extra towel. I woke up today with one sore leg and a little back pain. But all worth it.

He is a cutie; best bit was his owner put on his harness, he wasn’t too fussed but gets used to it. My brother’s dog Ollie was like that, God rest his soul.

I don't know how ill feel of my Roxie ever passes. Sorry to hear about your Roscoe. There was a 4 year period that I just couldn't have a dog after losing two within a couple of years.

When I was a little girl we had 4 dachshunds - Fritzi, Fritzi, Hans, & Gus. They were very affectionate dogs, very cuddly, and loved to go to sleep under the covers in bed. I just loved them to death.

My little Doxy used to run like the wind when he was a pup. Now he's 15 1/2 and a little old fella.
We love him dearly. He still sleeps in our room in his soft little bed.
I've cooked his meals all his life.
He's our best friend.
i need one of those because my morning goes like this : 5am - doggie on chest looking intently if I open an eye 👁 if I do, rushes to door to go pee, rushes back in and scratches bowl for breakfast, grabs favourite toy, wants to play, hears a noise, barks in high pitch , jumps on couch, looks out the window for the villain, turns out it’s the cat 🐈⬛ it’s now 6:30, have to take Barkie for a walk, get ready for work, and I’m exhausted by 7am - all in the name of love 💕

Mac is so adorable. He’s a mini version of our standard size one we had. We adopted our dachshund the day after he turned one year old and he passed when he was almost 15 years old. We loved our baby boy. Dachshunds are awesome!!

my mum has a dachhound. crazy, hyperACTIVE a hover, eats everything but their own meals unless hand fed and barks all the time. shes awsome lol.
Thank you for the Mom and Dad who has this "Little One" named Mac!!!! I was laughing and shaking my head left and right!!! Mac is too cute and spoiled but he is at a cool home with nice Mommy and Daddy. They, pets, have us rapped around their paws!! I know because I am a former "Daddy" that had a Husky/Shepherd Dog.

I HAD MOTHER AND RESUED BABY BACK. I'M 69, I STILL WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A DOXIE TO GO WITH MY 4 YR JACK. THAT WOULD MAKE ME VERY HAPPY...THIS LITTLE GUY JUST MADE ME WANT A DOXIE TO GO WITH ME 4 YR. I miss my mini dachshund tana. She was the love of my life. She got me through some hard times after I got out of the army. We did everything together. She was the best PTSD medicine I ever found. Now to Soothe My Broken Heart I watch cute dachshund videos. ❤️
