Kang is underrated af, considering that people are disappointed with how he lost to ants. I think he sucked in Quantumania, but that doesn't stop him from having potential to live up to, if not eclipse, Thanos.

@@noobmaster69426No he is not. Kang doesn’t give a shit about Thanos. Kang killed Thanos with ease. Hell, Kang can wipe out entire universes, timelines and cosmic beings. Thanos couldn’t beat Kang even with the Infinity Stones. They are mere trinkets to Kang. He never sought them out because he does not need them to achieve his goal. He even killed future Dr. Doom who had the Reality Stone and Power Stone as well as the blood of a celestial.
I always did think that Thanos was the cooler and scarier villain. He was calm and determined while Kang was hyper and aggressive

He doesn’t care if someone can manipulate time, as he has mastered time itself and controls it to his whim. Even future Dr. Doom with the Reality Stone and Time Stone and the blood of a Celestial making him a God couldn’t kill Kang. Kang is a beast and only allows himself to lost if it ensures a future victory.

Thanos would trounce Kang within the Multiverse and with the Infinity Gauntlet because he can counter him with the powers of the stones. But Kang may have the potential, so let's let time tell because Quantumania poorly depicted Kang. Hopefully Loki S2 and Kang Dynasty & Secret Wars show him as the Thanos level threat we need, but given the fact that the Kang variants are kinda rushed (each project he is set to be in might show him as conqueror, then dead; pretty much a predictable villain now), I'm not that excited for Kang Dynasty or Secret wars. So for now, the winner is Thanos. After all, in the comics, Kang feared Thanos, although he's killed plenty of Thanos variants. But what if we do outside time (TVA where stones are paperweights) or he doesn't have stones? Yes, Kang would have the upper hand. But then again, Thanos has upper hand in terms of impact as well XD

Thanos wouldnt want the multiverse. That is beneath him. Just like fighting with Kang would serve no purpose for Thanos. Kang is the one who is threatened by Thanos, because without his time travel.bs, Thanos would completely destroy Kang. Even with his time travel, there isnt much Kang can do to Thanos. But since this is MCU Thanos...pretty much every character could beat this weak af, poorly written villain.
Thanos wasn’t poorly written in MCU. He was ruined and weak in what if bc of lazy writing. I don’t trust the what if series bc they ruined him.
@@noobmaster69426 Thanos did want to erase half of existence in the universe. His priorities were a lot more selfish and narrow. He wanted to gain favor with Mistress Death because he was infatuated with her. She was the one who quested him to get rid of half of the superhero population, not half of all life. His purpose behind getting the Infinity Stones were born of two reasons. One to fulfill this quest and two to show his power to be equals with Death. The 2nd one backfired and was ultimately his undoing, not because the Avengers used a stupid plot like time travel to fix things. So yeah, MCU really screwed up Thanos as a character. There is very little MCU Thanos and comics Thanos has in commo imo. In my eyes, they are completely different characters.
