Probably just the mechanic testing out the machine after making repairs.
bobcat skid steers can set the lift arms in floatation mode, so it's easier to level and backfill the area without messing around like the guy in the video...
the only thing you have to do is press your left pedal fully forward to activate the floatation mode...
if you have to use float your not much of a operator.
My boss and all the other operators always ask why float worked better for me than them. Told them cause I don't use it. Use pure skill that float cant match

deanandsha That comment doesn’t make any sense! Gump would have stopped the flooding of New Orleans with that thing, not knowing what he had done it it until after the fact. Regardless, he surely would have liked driving that Bobcat, and at no charge.

For a brief moment I thought I was observing a new technique. the same work could have been accomplished with a lawn mower.
Guess you could also hire a guy with a shovel for $12.50/hr. and for accomplish the same result for $6.25.

4 in 1 bucket does a much better job, you can scallop the top bit by bit.
4 in 1's are fuckin shit they keep gradually opening up and you gotta keep closing.. there fucked and any awesome operator out there would agree. There only good for picking shit up. If you're leveling something you want a normal bucket.
I need to level the backyard it's a disaster. Basically the backyard has not been green for over 15 years. Want to add sprinklers and sod, plants etc. What is the name of that machine you are using in your video? And what is the average cost to rent one of them?
