July 28th My wife & I sold our business and retired at 60. Since then we have travelled to more than 70 countries. Earlier on We drove the full length of the U.S.. drove extensively in Europe as well as Australia. We have had a blast! Then as we got older we cruised extensively but now we are in our mid 80s we can’t go too far afield BUT we love following your videos and seeing the world through your eyes. Thank you for giving us both so much pleasure. Stay safe. Oh we are Kiwis but don’t hold that against us.😛

I have watched a lot of youtube travelling families to get ideas about future trips. The difference with you guys are your videos are always something to look forward to because you are so down to earth and show the good and the bad.
I really hope this inspires others to get out there and live their dream! We have been full time travellers for almost 4 years but are a little older than you guys so no children with us. But we had a dream to travel and we just made it work! Our favourite saying is ‘Do it while you can coz it’s later than you think’ because it’s so true!

Many thanks for your openness and honesty in your “information “ video . We are an “elderly” couple (as the government calls us) who took our 4 and 8 year old daughters around Australia (24,000kms) in a 18ft York caravan and a 1984 Landcruiser for 6 months of long service + annual leave . Perth to Perth . Very special memories . Occasional tent and camper trailer trips in between when they were at school and now we have been caravanning since 2007 , not full time but 2 to 5 months at a time , at least 2 , maybe 3 times a year plus Pete does at least 1 prospecting trip of 6 weeks a year with mates . I think he would do continual caravanning if he could.

And absolutely 100% your wife is a warrior!! Giving birth to your daughter like a champ! When my ex gave birth to our children she broke my thumb on my left hand 3 time ( once for each child) plus she was medicated to the roof! She broke my thumb so severely it needed pinning all 3 times.

While laid up in my bed defeated and depressed with back issues I stumbled on your vid…. WOW what an inspiration! Genuinely telling it as it is and the pure honesty. The reason for you following is yous! Don’t change a thing.. I was facing a LONG portion of the rest of my life possibly in a chair.. We run into you all at the Tantanoola caves . Father in law and myself were star struck by your truck and caravan at the time in the carpark. You couldn’t be more accommodating in showing us around the truck . Opening all the doors and chatting away . Been following you ever since and enjoying the travelling along with you .
You ask why we watch your channel. I can only speak for myself so here is what I think. Usually I don't get to the end of other people's posts because they are either boring or self centered. I watch yours because you're so real, not just me centered but a real family with real problems and real highlights. You tell us the truth in very real language and don't pretend that everything is fine when it isn't. The video of Aurora's birth was such a beautiful example of reality so that I even cried! Your adventures show that you don't have to be super rich just careful and good at planning to have adventures as a family. You are an example of good parenthood and obviously love your children and each other. It's great to see families interacting as you do. You make me laugh, cry, and dream . I am 84 and for health reasons my travel days are over, but, through you I can visit the Australia I haven't managed to see. Thankyou heaps and may luck, love and laughter travel with you. I am happy to say that we older than you guys, both 50 this year kids have grown up, and we have decided to not be those ones that regret not doing something later in life. We had a construction company here in Nq and have shut it down. We are currently building stuff up to take off and when we take off we are going for a very long time. I tell everyone that I am not travelling Australia I am going to relocate to wherever we want and stay for as long as we want, see as much as we can. Chanel’s like yours have been nothing but encouragement for us. Both our kids have grown up camping and I really hope they start early in their own family lives (Or soon to be family lives - I’ve even got one starting to watch your Chanel and I hope this encourages her- ps she’s currently on a trip back from Uluṟu for a wedding. So please keep up the good work on showing us and everyone what can be done, young or older, there’s a great big world out there and our backyard is the best place to start.
All I can say is that my wife and I love your vid's, the adventures, the crazy things you have done, been through and the birth of your new child. Love what you guys are planning to do. As a single mum with a toddler I enjoy your videos seeing how you manage parenthood whilst travelling. I recently bought a van to downsize life to spend more time with my son but doing it alone does have a bit of a fear factor. I love how real you guys are instead of just brushing everything with gold and making it look pretty. People like me need the reality of it not the instagram photos lol Well done! We are in our 70's from the US and just watch because we love the scenery, the crazy and rugged journey and especially because of the family. Hi guys love the latest video, I’m with Jackson with his truck , I’ve got a 105 series Land Cruiser I got from my late father and it was his pride and now it’s mine , we had it converted with a 6.5 Chevy diesel by a company now that has been liquidated, it’s now parked in the driveway not being able to drive but still can’t get rid of it as it is apart of me now so just have to spend a crap load more money on it so I get that you guys are so awesome and we love your videos

Hi, just wanted to say I have watched all types of caravaning videos on CZcams, and your channel is the only one I have subscribed to, I feel, you really strike a "realism" with your audience, basically your videos are refreshing and real, please don't change. I am extremely impressed that you want to support viewers to get out to see this country with your new ventures, I am looking forward to purchasing tickets to get an opportunity to support in such a small way. Whilst my story is much simpler and as yet my longest trip with my wife "off grid" is 2 weeks, my adult kids are very much into the camping/ weekender/ 4x4 ventures. Having just been told I won't have a job after April 2025, now is the time for me and my wife to make some changes at 60 years old (young and fit). I have commuted from Gosford to Sydney for 30 years and worked long hours in the city and sacrificed my family life - no more will i let the $$$ own me. Your videos are inspiring me and i am sure you know to others .... I am not sure how to write thank you :)

We are currently doing a major renovation while living in it with four kids, one being born into the caos of torn down walls and electrical chandeliers. Our incomes come from our commercial plumbing company which is a constant stress. We dream to get out there and do a big lap we have been saying it for years now but feel stuck on a hamster wheel with no control. This video has been really inspirational to us to make it happen and get out there and enjoy quality time as a family! Loving the videos thanks for keeping it real

Hey guys I love you guys.. let me say just a little to try and touch on the tip of the impact you guys have on some of us…I’m a struggling tradie I have life altering health issues. While laid up in my bed defeated and depressed with back issues I stumbled on your vid…. WOW what an inspiration!

I was facing a LONG portion of the rest of my life possibly in a chair.. (not that there is anything wrong with that should it be needed) but yous have inspired me to use dig deeper and push harder. All this after watching only this one video so far…. But I can assure you.. I will be binging while I recover as much as I can. Keep going let me catch up, I love it.. You ask why we watch your channel. I can only speak for myself so here is what I think. Usually I don't get to the end of other people's posts because they are either boring or self centered. I watch yours because you're so real, not just me centered but a real family with real problems and real highlights. You tell us the truth in very real language and don't pretend that everything is fine when it isn't. The video of Aurora's birth was such a beautiful example of reality so that I even cried! Your adventures show that you don't have to be super rich just careful and good at planning to have adventures as a family. You are an example of good parenthood and obviously love your children and each other. It's great to see families interacting as you do. You make me laugh, cry, and dream . I am 84 and for health reasons my travel days are over, but, through you I can visit the Australia I haven't managed to see. Thankyou heaps and may luck, love and laughter travel with you. I am happy to say that we older than you guys, both 50 this year kids have grown up, and we have decided to not be those ones that regret not doing something later in life. We had a construction company here in Nq and have shut it down. We are currently building stuff up to take off and when we take off we are going for a very long time. I tell everyone that I am not travelling Australia I am going to relocate to wherever we want and stay for as long as we want, see as much as we can. Chanel’s like yours have been nothing but encouragement for us. Both our kids have grown up camping and I really hope they start early in their own family lives (Or soon to be family lives - I’ve even got one starting to watch your Chanel and I hope this encourages her- ps she’s currently on a trip back from Uluṟu for a wedding. So please keep up the good work on showing us and everyone what can be done, young or older, there’s a great big world out there and our backyard is the best place to start.
All I can say is that my wife and I love your vid's, the adventures, the crazy things you have done, been through and the birth of your new child. We fully agree with you about that industry is all about take, take and sometimes rip off people, poor quality built vans etc. My wife and I are both like you guys as in help people when you can etc. Keep up the great HONEST work, video's etc and hopefully will catchup with you when we hit the road to WA from Vic.

Love what you guys are planning to do. As a single mum with a toddler I enjoy your videos seeing how you manage parenthood whilst travelling. I recently bought a van to downsize life to spend more time with my son but doing it alone does have a bit of a fear factor. I love how real you guys are instead of just brushing everything with gold and making it look pretty. People like me need the reality of it not the instagram photos lol Well done! We have been watching since the first video that we stumbled onto accidentally last year. We are in our 70's from the US and just watch because we love the scenery, the crazy and rugged journey and especially because of the family. The love and respect is so evident and it is refreshing to see how well you work as a team to live the life you want. Hi guys love the latest video, I’m with Jackson with his truck , I’ve got a 105 series Land Cruiser I got from my late father and it was his pride and now it’s mine , we had it converted with a 6.5 Chevy diesel by a company now that has been liquidated, it’s now parked in the driveway not being able to drive but still can’t get rid of it as it is apart of me now so just have to spend a crap load more money on it so I get that you guys are so awesome and we love your videos

Hi, just wanted to say I have watched all types of caravaning videos on CZcams, and your channel is the only one I have subscribed to, I feel, you really strike a "realism" with your audience, basically your videos are refreshing and real, please don't change. I am extremely impressed that you want to support viewers to get out to see this country with your new ventures, I am looking forward to purchasing tickets to get an opportunity to support in such a small way. Whilst my story is much simpler and as yet my longest trip with my wife "off grid" is 2 weeks, my adult kids are very much into the camping/ weekender/ 4x4 ventures. Having just been told I won't have a job after April 2025, now is the time for me and my wife to make some changes at 60 years old (young and fit). I have commuted from Gosford to Sydney for 30 years and worked long hours in the city and sacrificed my family life - no more will i let the $$$ own me. Your videos are inspiring me and i am sure you know to others .... I am not sure how to write thank you :)

We are currently doing a major renovation while living in it with four kids, one being born into the caos of torn down walls and electrical chandeliers. Our incomes come from our commercial plumbing company which is a constant stress. We dream to get out there and do a big lap we have been saying it for years now but feel stuck on a hamster wheel with no control.
This video has been really inspirational to us to make it happen and get out there and enjoy quality time as a family! Loving the videos thanks for keeping it real

Great episode guys as it filled in those little gaps that my wife and I ask every time when we watch each show. As someone who has driven trucks off-road in remote areas I’m amassed you do it so easily even thou you have your wife and kids in the cab with you. I don’t hear the end of it pulling into dirt rest area bay. 😊
