- Taking the new Yokomo RD 2.0 out to the track for some of its first laps drifting! In this video I show you guys how I tune the budget electronics on this awesome rc drift car. I can definitely say that the Yokomo RD 2.0 is a great RWD rc drift car for the money and it was an absolute blast to drift down at the track. I had some people asking if I would get the RD 2.0 or the ReveD RDX and I like both! It’s hard to say what rc drift car is a better performer but if I had to pick I might pick the RDX only slightly over the Yokomo RD 2.0 but I’m sure with some very basic tuning the RD 2.0 could be the new rc drift budget king!

I’d get both. RDX for performance and not needing to change a thing, rd to save money, RDX still drives better imo.

The new features of the g2 10120bl esc isn't just new bec setting but it now comes with boost and turbo settings which the original doesn't. This is a feature of higher end esc and is a good new feature for a budget esc. Definitely try the g2.👍 Great vid.
The original does has boost and turbo! Its your timing and punch settings, its the same thing…
My 10bl120 G2 was just delivered today. Going to pair it with the Yokomo Zero-S 10.5 in an RD 2.0. I expect this combo to punch well above it's sub $150 price tag.
Can confirm that it does even with the g1
@shredcraftrc I'm confused then. As the new g2 program options seem different from my original g1. I don't remember being able to set the turbo delay on the original one. And the punch settings are different to the boost timing. As it now goes to 32degrees of timing. Well looks like I was wrong about the g2 setting, so slightly more options.
I'd say s15 for sure would look super cool done right

About servo power: I saw Reve D's video about their servo and the chassis held a better line with torque set higher (maybe it would give sort of on the rails feel?)
I’ve been told to only run 6v through the rsst at 7.4 it will over work bland burnout. On the rails feel would start with a good alignment.

The new g2 has boost and turbo settings to adjust , the old one only has timing ie boost .
Punch and timing, turbo and boost, works great. Don’t need the g2 to drift.
