That was hilarious. You heard the panic in the teachers voice like no don’t say that 😂 the kids were just happy to be included and the teacher was happy to make the student feel welcomed and loved and you saw the kids project that when they group hugged. So sweet and the kind of thing that isn’t on the curriculum but we love our teachers for going above and beyond with our children 😂 always lessons to be learned at school, not just what’s in the book

As someone who has gone through cancer twice, it makes me so happy to see the support that this young student has, one of the most beneficial things whilst going/have gone through cancer is knowing that there are people around you will always support you no matter what.

I just assumed it would be another teacher (which is still very sad when an adult gets cancer), but there’s just something so next level awful when a child gets cancer. Before majoring in education, I was a pre nursing major to work with kids that have cancer. I’m glad I switched, just dealing with one child was heartbreaking. I’m not cut out for that life 😓
