The game will reward you with unique items, if you can beat the bosses without taking damage. The only exceptions are Gnarlox and final boss.
Chasm reminds me a lot about GBA castlevanias. Maybe that's why I like it. - Hry

I actually found out about Gungeon thanks to Gellot. And oh man, do I have a lot to thank for that.
I just searched for a full Terraria boss run and Gellot did that no damage. (Though he did cheat on Golem and The Destroyer by using walls and teleporters. Still impressive, tho.)
Chris Weldy you do realize the reason why he use it just because he find it quite difficult to achieve the hitless battle, he doesnt cheese them by using stormbow either
Yes it is his job to accomplish the hitless boss battles but when something becomes impossible its best to find another way to assist him, rather than keep going with the same tactic that isnt going to work in a hundred or more attempts

This channel deserves way more than what it gets at this rate. Honestly i love watching Boss Rushes in games especially Nintendo and this channel present interesting new games and some awesomes mechanics too . Its a pleasure for the mind to discover a lot of fresh video entertainment as well as understanding the storylines. Furthermore Gellot i think that what you do is sensational.
I really enjoy it when you do the metroidvanias like this, far more than when you do other popular games just for the sake that they're popular. Good job on this video, and I completely agree with you in your description, this feels a lot like Aria of Sorrow on GBA

The game is indeed easy, especially the bosses
bosses atacks are extremmely easy to recognise. It may be difficult the first 2-3 times you face the boss, but then you probably will no hit them easly. I found out that you get some secret boss drops if you beat them flawless and did it on my first walkthrough. it's a shame that first 2 bosses drops are garbage.

It's possible one of the requirements for the gold medal is time.
I remember Gnarlox being a huge letdown on my first playthrough-the arena itself was one of the hardest parts of the game for me, and I was convinced it was supposed to be a side-challenge where you tested your skill against waves of enemies until you reached some kind of superboss.
But I didn't even have to use any potions against Gnarlox, since he kinda just...stands there with the occasional lazy attack. And you don't get some amazing reward from him like the gladiator set from previous arena challenges-you only use the diving gear once to get past a pool in the garden then never again.
So dope . You should always do this , when new game release ,just go straight record it .. Love you man . Thanks for all tip to beat the boss

A Lot Of These Bosses Can Be Killed Rather Quickly With An Upgraded Throwing Axe Because It Hits 2 To 4 Times If Timed Right. Especially The Big And/Or Floating Bosses.
For The Bosses That Stay On Ground Like The 1st Boss And The Arena Boss, Use A Knife/Dagger Weapon Archetype. If You Can Time The Weapon Attack Right, You Can Melt Bosses Within Seconds.
Its Stupid How The Game Gave You A Silver Even Though You 100% The Floors And Rescues. . . I Guess They Really Want You To Speed Run It.
I Wonder What's The Required Time And Damage To Receive A Gold Medal. . .

My only gripe with Chasm is that your character doesn't look any different with different armors

So didn't Alucard in SotN and yet it's considered one if not the best of its genre

Maybe it would have been better if armor would have changed in SoTN.
I think they should have done it in chasm.
The developers stated that the character has over 1000 different frames, so they wouldn't have the time to remake each frame for armor.

A decent metroidvania from my experience, not that complex and somewhat linear but a fun one nonetheless.
I had some facepalms in the game tbh. Like enemies sometimes just walk into you when you hit them and there is no way to dodge them. Some of the weapons are very unreliavle like all the daggers bc of the extremely short range. I was very disapointed when I found out I can't make a proper mage build before the 2nd boss. Some of the artifacs are bs. What is the point of getting a spiked glove when you then get the walljump which is the same thing,? Why did they do that? Why not add something different? In my seed there were only 2 places that I needed diving gear for and ok there was a dog, but the other one was realy not worth it. You don't get any special gear for flawlessly killing boss in the arena WHYYYYY. And you don't get anything fancy for killing Ullat. I mean he is an end boss and stuff, but it would be cool to get something after you wake up... Maybe just a map with all the secrets? Not that they are hard to find, but used potion of sight and the secrets detector in every room isn't fun. I have literaly ran the whole map with that thing before killing Ullat bc I knew that the game will not continue after his death. And I haven't found anything btw. Only the chest with the light stone to get the light sword that was bad bc I got the assasins sword which would increase it's dmg the more you kill so at the point I got the l. sword I had that thing at 81dmg... And I am being very hard on these very few ppl who made the game and actualy this is the only reason I forgive everything I said before, BUT... This game is not worth 15eur. Maybe 10, but. not. 15.

I personally found King Trell the easiest of the bosses up to him. I died so many times on Titan it's laughable, and a few on Wendigo. Zero on King Trell.

I got something for you. Nothing crazy, but you could give "Just Shapes&Beats" a go. Bosses aren't exactly most difficult but still require some precision. I'm sure you'll love it.

Aurum Arma the hammer from the Titan is very very good, the axe from the shaman not so.

Not sure, I had some random fps drops, though they rarely happened. You can always refund the game if it doesn't run well.
