Okay, your tip on drilling holes in your display and using pegs to prop it up, is ingenious!! Thanks for the tips!!
Your artist alley booth looks gorgeous!! also thank you so much for the really good tips!
It really motivates me for making my own artist alley. and to see display hacks like this really shows that you don't have to buy that expensive signs for your artist alley booth to make it beautiful.
Out of all the videos on YT regarding Cons/Alleys/Trade shows, I really appreciate this one most. I like you're real take on what works for you, and the video leaves enough room for figuring out what works for me (instead of some of those "You HAVE TO do this" videos). I make smaller pieces and just started doing conventions this year. It's been a rough learning curve so far, lol.
thanks! yeah, it can definitely be a pretty steep learning curve but a very rewarding way to sell your art :) good luck!!
Oh man these are actually so brilliant and simple, I've been looking for these kinds of things for a while. I'm definitely going to use these, thanks so much!
How did you get/make the front of your button display!!? It looks really great and I've been looking for a good way to display bigger buttons.
We bought it at a crafts store like Michael's.
This video was so helpful Lin!

I'm definitely going to look into that metal bracket trick! Thanks for a great video :)
If you use sticky back velcro can also apply this to table cloth and to the bracket to make solid or tape it down with gaffa tape.
this has helped me so much thank you!!
ur welcome! :D
thank you! this was helpful :3
great hacks, just did my first show and i will use the bracket for signs hack...creative a.f. thank you
Where do you buy a button display box? Did you make it yourself? Thanks!
I bet you could build something similar to the backdrop stands out of PVC pipe! Which may or may not need to be weighted at the feet. Great video thanks! :)
Kendalyn Creates I used to have a Pvc setup that was similar but trust me the tripods are way better.
The tripods are infinitely easier. Though PVC pipe is cheaper, but it is much more likely to sag and to break too. Plus you usually have to invest in some clamps too. PVC all the way to the floor tends to make the display super heavy.
Great tips! Those closepins holding up the tablecloth!!"why didn't I think of that!" Lbvs!
Hello Lulu Lin, what's the wood thingie holding in the pin buttons?
We bought it at a crafts store like Michael's. Not sure what the name is.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how much stuff you bring to a con if you decide to become a vendor? Like for example, how many pins do you order/make for sale and how many prints do you print for sale? What is the average amount?
How old do you have to be to run a booth? I’m 15 and I really wanna sell my art at a con
Depends on the con must cons won't allow minors to lead a booth but you can put the booth in the name of your guardian and you can pretty much take over
I'm the creator of Seeds of Arcadia, and I will be attending the Expo this year. I won't be selling anything, but I will be passing out free stickers, posters, and lithograms so look out for that.
I cannot with the background noise
how to kill time at a con as a vendor ;)
We have gone from calling the floor to ground to calling a table the ground. It's not a ground for heaven sakes. It's a table. the ground is located on the outside, made of dirt, rocks, and grass.
