I grew up with Morgans , on one of the foremost breeding/showing Farms in the midwest: most certainly I learned early on that those Morgans are everything you could want ; driving of course. never had the equipment to drive four but they are so amenable to cooperating. The fresians are something that was new to me some years ago when I just came upon a large farm in Wisconsin. ^The horses are unmistakable. They reminded me right off of large black Morgans. Love it so much.

I had a Morgan gelding that was a dream of a horse. I rode him English and Western style and even drove him. He had the best disposition ever.
Morgans really are special. As are fresians! My grandparents raised and bred morgans when my mom was young, on a small scale. I would really love to move to a good plot of land with pasture for a few horses and be the proud owner of morgans and fresians!
I just bought my first Friesian this last winter. Everything you say about them is so true. I should have bought a Friesian years ago. I also have a Morgan my first love and Gypsy Vanners. They all are great horses.
