    I'm busy with a theme tank with just Xenia and a Bangai Cardinals breeding tank. Another tank just with Waving hand softies with a breeding colony Pajama Cardinals breeding tank. I like the idea of no aggression between the corals.

    I just started a 20 gallon saltwater tank, and plan on keeping it as the only coral in the tank. And just letting it cover the entirety of the rock work. I’m so excited!

    Love the coral. I have low maintainance reef tank. I want it to take over my tank. Especially my back glass. Thank you for the information. I'm using very cheap chinese lights. Imported lights are not in my current budget. Here in South Africa we are looking at an 18 to 1 USD exchange rate.

      That's awesome yeah that would be great to have them take over a section of the tank. They look great in large colonies. What size is your aquarium? Thank you so much for the support and watching from South Africa. I'm glad the video was helpful.

    I got mine and it instantly started to die and my tank’s water parameters were fine. My tank is a little dirty and it’s on it’s on rock higher up in the tank. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong.

    Thanks for this video. I have a lot of Xenia and they all have shrunk into little balls. Don't understand what happened. I have gsp, and soft mushrooms and there doing great, all my fish are also doing great. Just don't understand what happened

      It could be something got into the water or something bothering them. Are they still shrunk or have they started to bounce back?

    If I put them on a isolated rock will they still multiply everywhere?

    • @TheCoralReefTalk
      @TheCoralReefTalk  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Isolating Xenia to one area or rock is a good way to help them stay in one spot, however pieces or buds of xenia can still get moved around the tank due to water circulation, so yes you could start to see some in other areas even if they are isolated. But by doing that, it gives you a little more control over where you want them in your tank and keeps them away from other corals or places in the tank you do not want them.

    How would one separate a Pulsing Xenia?

    • @TheCoralReefTalk
      @TheCoralReefTalk  Před 9 měsíci

      If you want to create frags one way is to cut a section of the rock that they are on or between them and then glue that small piece of rock to a frag plug.
