Well, I finally found what I didn't know I needed. After trying just one of these amp impulses, there's no going back to modeled cabinet/mic sims. Great tips on how to dial in a tone with amp sims in this video btw. Starting with all knobs fully counter clockwise and listening to each of them one by one is so much better than doing it the way I've always done it, which is starting at all knobs at noon.
I would like to add that it also works with ignite amps impulse loader as well.....I switched from using lepou and other amp Sims to using external preamps by amt and found that the axe fx works great for them.....that Atlantic has become my one trick pony....but will try the 5150 and legacy impulses soon...Great work!!!

Im new on cab emulating software... I have a couple of mesa boogie amps, I want to connect their speaker out to a di box and the di box to my mbox audio interface.. then... what do I need to get to emulate a mesa boogie 4x12 cabinet with vintage 30s?
Cool video:) Now, if you were to use a real amp, or just a preamp in front of your IR's, would you say that going "FX loop out" and straight into the audio interface would work well? I'm slightly concerned about the input level on the audio interface, because it would be adjustable, and I'm also curious if it's sufficient, because that would only include a preamp of a head, and not the poweramp.
What about a NadIR from Ignite Amps? It works really well for me, has some nice features (like a delay knob for phase issues while using 2 impulses) and it's free.
Dan Shustrikoff NadIR works great. As with any loader, we always suggest trying the 96k wav as well as the one that matches the sample rate of your session to see what works best.
Hey guys I purchased the Mesa Os and it sound amazing but I'm having a hard time hearing it good,I'm using hardware for amp (gsp1101) 5150 patch,also using lecab turned the master vol to max.
Just purchased the Mesa Cabinet impulse. Can't wait to try it. I'm gonna change my strings first and then fire this bastard up! One question though, I'm no quite understanding the other content inside this purchase. I know how to use impulses (WAV) files but what about the Ax-FX files. I know what Axe-FXs are but what's up with it as well as the other stuff? Thanks guys!
Hi Brett, The Axe-FX and Kemper folders are for use only with those products. If you, for example, buy an Axe-Fx, the files provided with your purchase located in the Axe-Fx folder would be compatible to be loaded as a cabinet into your Axe-Fx unit. This is the same for the Kemper Profiling Amplifier

hi rosen guys all your sounds are impressive..which one of your IRs would be suitable for havok kind of thrash metal in standard tuning and lots of chugging? I have tse x50 v2.4 and already have some of rosen irs in it but couldt figure my way out...thanks...
mlhgurkan Our custom cabinets are going to always give you the best tones for high gain. We engineered them to work in the most brutal contexts possible. Besides those can't go wrong with any of the other 4x12's especially the 5150.
Christian Landmann We highly recommend anything made by Presonus. We did all our demos with the Audiobox VSL22 which you can pick up for about 150-200 dollars.
the problem im having, i keep getting a scratchy clicking sound that keeps coming through, when i play or record. eventually i get a prompt that says something about the monitor. WTH???? HELP!!!!!!!!! i use garageband.

Ive been tryin to find out how to load and use IRs and couldnt find the right info, but this cleared it all up with reverence.. thanks for the video
Just picked up a handful of these, and they sound awesome!! The Rosen Atlantic Custom is my favourite, but they all sound incredible.

You would need to load an impulse loader after amplitube in your signal chain. We highly recommend LeCab. Links in the description.

could be the latency is set too low.. on my pc, when the latency is too low I get pops and crackles. CZcams a video on latency for mac.
