Thanks for speaking on this because I've been using this plant with my coins and blessed oil the last 5 years on my Alter near my front door with my lit candles and I've been blessed abundantly continually 🙏❤. I change to a new Jericho plant & water when needed.

Lulu, I found your channel when I wasn't looking, and I'm happy I did. However, after setting up everything just as in the video, on the second day, the bowl with the rose started smelling funky. Why is that; what did I do wrong? BTW, I love your videos.

Hey there! If your Rose of Jericho is giving off a weird smell, here's a quick fix. First off, make sure you're changing the water often - it keeps things fresh and stops any yucky mold or bacteria from growing. When you do change the water, give the bowl a good scrub with some soapy water. Also, have a look at the plant itself. If you see any moldy or rotten bits, just pick them off. It's also a good idea to keep the plant in a spot with plenty of air moving around to keep those smells at bay. You might want to try using filtered or distilled water too, as tap water can have extra stuff in it that isn't great for the plant. And remember, the Rose of Jericho doesn't need to be in water all the time - letting it dry out now and then can really help. If your plant's got roots, check if they're healthy, because bad roots can stink. Hope this helps!

So sorry! Here are some tips that may help you bring your plant back:
Begin by placing it in a shallow dish filled with lukewarm water, ensuring it's submerged. After a few hours, the plant should start to open and turn green; if not, adjust its position in the water.
It's essential to change standing water daily to avoid mold and bacteria. The plant thrives in warm temperatures with indirect sunlight. If mold appears, remove the plant from the water, brush off the mold, and let it dry.
Remember, the Rose of Jericho should alternate between wet and dry periods, mimicking its natural environment. If the plant has been revived multiple times or was initially unhealthy, its ability to bounce back might diminish.
Be mindful of water quality; using distilled water or dechlorinated tap water can be beneficial. Ensure the water is aerated for prolonged submersion.
If these steps don't work, the plant might be non-viable, and purchasing a new one from us could be the next step.
We hope this helps! Be blessed!

Thank you for the video. It's very helpful. What happens to the stones and coins already put in the water when someone refreshes and cleanses out the water. Can they be reuse or not?

Yes! The Rose of Jericho can go through this rehydration process multiple times, so you can continue to enjoy its fascinating ability to "come back to life." Just make sure to handle it gently and avoid damaging the delicate branches as you rehydrate and dry it.

I don't know where this novelty of glitter came into hoodoo, but I wish it hadn't ever come. We have enough toxic ingredients in our lives. We don't need glitter.

The glitter is by no means a necessary ingredient. It is very popular with some practitioners.
