I'm an Oregon fan I knew Herbert before he was with the Chargers. He doesn't handle pressure, and does put crazy stats up. But Mariota got the Ducks closer to a Natty by himself than Herbert. Herbert had possibly one of Oregon's most dominant RB room ever, one 5 star running back Royce Freeman a incumbent 4 star who was dominant Thomas Tyner. Freeman won the spot. Both together was insane, Tyner transfered Oregon ST after a injury.
Although the final score is 27-20, the game was not that close. If Carlson made that fg before half, and if the refs called that PI on that pick 6, we wouldâve won 30-13. Very proud with this team, a very dominant game where everything was clicking. I think the JMD system might be working now. And there is still a chance for playoffs, and I can definitely see us winning out. LFG RAIDERS đ€
Chandler Jones hasn't been as bad as people say. The sacks numbers aren't there but he's really good at setting the edge & stopping the run. Hopefully the sacks keep piling up.
Those 3 games where Raiders blew huge leads to the Cardinals, Chiefs and Jaguars are coming to bite the Raiders, it puts pressure on the Raiders to win out to get to 10-7, 9-8 record maybe gets you in but not guaranteed.
Why would any coach tank. That goes against their record which wouldnât look good if he wants another job one day. But I think he might just be that guy we get to keep for years to come. If he keeps calling games like this.
I personally wouldnât think about the playoffs just yet especially when weâre statistically not even in the hunt. Iâll still keep my expectations low. That being said, the Raiders are playing extremely well and itâs great to see theyâre building that chemistry now while their best playmakers (Jacobs, Adams, Crosby) are making key plays when it counts. Plus, anything is possible especially with how last season turned out with all the mess they dealt with. Temper expectations but keep the excitement rolling because this team is starting to be really fun to watch #RaiderNation
