In this lesson, we start with learning the fundamental footwork in Bhangra. This footwork will be used in almost every move we learn in this series. Taught by Shivani Bhagwan & Chaya Kumar.

This step-by-step 'Bhangra' program is designed for people with zero experience. The series comes with 15 lessons, through which you’ll learn all the basic techniques, moves, & vocabulary properly. The classes are designed to lead you from one lesson to the next, so there’s no guesswork on how to make daily progress.
The Beginner Bhangra Series also comes with 2 dance routines; one at the mid-way point, after lesson 8, and the other after lesson 15 which will seamlessly help you put together the moves and knowledge learned through the lesson plans.
After completing this program, you will be ready to tackle our full-length “Bhangra Funk” dance tutorials featuring some of the hottest Bhangra songs.

Hi! I just wanted to tell you that I didn't start dancing until I was 38 years old, and I didn't discover Bhangra until I was 41. I have managed to learn these moves enough to keep up in a beginner or intermediate class (I took a Bfunk class when they came to Boston!). So I know you can do it! Just keep trying, and the most important thing of all is to have fun, enjoy it, and don't get mad at yourself when you don't get it right. I'm so glad you're learning it! You're gonna do great! 👏🏽👏🏽
