I was wondering what if saiga antelope (nominate subspecies) were introduced to texas instead of blackbuck could they have numbered to 43,600 like the blackbuck since texas is perfect for antelope species?
Well perhaps this may be their saving grace, they're actually doing pretty badly in their native range due to habitat destruction and poaching. If they become extinct in the wild then a reintroduction from these ranches would be possible.

This isn't hunting its catered meat on a ranch that serves up exotics on a silver platter. Its like shooting cows in someone's pasture.
