I have been crafting fall and halloween even with it being 102 degrees here in Southern California 😂
Love it! It's super hot here in the Midwest too! I'm ready for jeans and sweatshirts weather!
@@Whiskeyandwhitoh yes me too lol
Whitney do you have any ideas for western style home decor?
Me too from Florida, that’s how I usher in cooler weather in my mind!😜
I usually start decorating for Fall after Labor Day, leave up until after Thanksgiving, throwing in Halloween in October and removing it after Halloween to just fall ahain😊
I'm a teacher and I craft all summer long because once school starts, all bets are off....I get super busy!!! August 1st is when I start decorating....I usually start school the following week so it's a great way for me to get my mind ready for the beginning of a new school year.....AND FOOTBALL SEASON! 😁😁😁
I sometimes don't decorate for every holiday anymore. I love watching the ideas and like recreating some of them to try to sell in my area. My friend and I are working on a low key crafting business business
For me, summer is patriotic decor from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. After that, it's game on. 🎃🍂
100 degrees tomorrow, I’m ready for fall! I just wish fall lasted longer!
I totally agree! I feel like we get 3 weeks of fall and then it's winter here outside Chicago - ugh!
Labor Day-ish. Ideally that gives me time to pack everything away, give everything a good clean, pull out Fall and have fun decorating.
Love that!
You KNOW I’ve been with you forever…..but girl, you are KILLING it on youtube!!! There are other creators that are good…..but YOU, YOU are the BEST!!! Ohhhh….and I start decorating for “Harvest” season on Labor Day weekend 🎉❄️🎉
School here starts Aug. 21. The weekend before that, I will hang my Back-to-School wreath on the front door and bring out some apple and sunflower decor. In September, I will add leaves. By the end of September, pumpkins will replace the apples. I like a realistic look, so I was delighted to learn there really are pumpkins in other colors because pink reigns in my house.
I’m starting my fall crafting now. I will probably decorate the beginning of September. And my fireplace looks exactly like yours! 😂
Love it! Fireplace twins :)
Because I love summer and hate cold I wait as long as possible to get fall decorations out. I love fall I just hate the winter between fall and spring - lol.
The moon reminded me of The Honeymooners 🙂
Falls my favorite season to decorate for I start in August ❤
Another thing I did with the Dollar Tree stand: Cut a cardboard circle and glued it to the base of the 'tree stand' -painted it mixed Southwest colors. I inverted this and used it to hold chips for Christmas Eve.
Cut off? My spooky vibe is all year round!!!!! Crafting from spring to fall!!
At the. End of July, then the Fall comes out. I Love Fall. 🍁🍂
I’ll craft any holiday any time. Just whenever I get the idea and the time.
I craft for fall year round, it’s my favorite! I start decorating on September 1st. Drives my husband crazy since we live in Florida and it’s 100 degrees out but we’re surrounded by pumpkin and fall leaves 😂
As soon as Labour Day weekend is behind me. Love decorating for Fall!! 🍁
Enjoyed your video so much. I am eager to decorate for fall but have been finishing up some patriotic projects because I know I will be happy they are done when I pull them out for next Memorial day.
We live 17 miles from the town where we shop for groceries and the nearest open DT. Today, I noticed the first kiss of fall other than florals and I was able to get some velvet pumpkin picks. I am beyond excited.
Will definitely be recreating the falling leaves wave goodbye sign as I have the perfect place for it and I love it so much. Thanks for all of the inspiration. ❤️🎃❤️
Just realized the patriotic projects are the result of your inspiration.
I like putting fall up in September, Halloween for the last two weeks in October, and Christmas up right around Thanksgiving. BUT I leave Christmas up until the Super Bowl. I love it so much!
My son's birthday is August 26th.....in my mind the next day after his birthday, Fall starts for me so that is when I start to decorate!
I love that!
🍁Beautiful pieces, pie garland is a classic win! If somewhere was Fall all year, I'd move today🥰 I start crafting in July for Fall, teachers, and Halloween! Start fall decor August 1st!🍂❤🙏🏾
Fall comes out in August! My birthday is Aug 15th and it is like my birthday tradition to buy fall decor and decorate the house - my favorite thing 😃🥰 Love seeing all the ideas again!
I currently don't decorate for holidays, but I start making things for people for Christmas, about now. But love your ideas, as next year I'm hoping to be able to decorate. Side note, when doing Christmas in July stuff, I wish everyone would use things that are readily available in July as I can't really stash
I love fall. My husband loves Halloween, so we start decorating after Labor Day
I enjoyed all of the great craft ideas! The pumpkin wrapped in a sweater is genius!
I like to decorate my house with fall decor in September.
When I decorate for fall really depends on the weather. The hotter it is the sooner I want to craft and decorate, hoping to rush summer to an end.
I start crafting for fall around the middle of August. Oct is for Halloween and after Halloween comes Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving comes Christmas
So fun, your start is coming soon :)
As soon as I’m done watching your videos.
I like using the sleeves of the sweaters to wrap my pumokins.
Ready to start fall crafting now. I usually ease into fall with sunflowers in August, then go full blown the first week of September! Thanks for these, some I’ve made, some I don’t remember seeing. It’s supposed to be 106 in s week.
I start Halloween decorating at the end of September throwing in some fall stuff so that when Halloween is over my Thanksgiving items have a head start
Love your decorating ideas I enjoy them all
Yay! Thank you!
With fall and Christmas festivals starting in early October, as a vendor I start making my fall items in mid August, when is very hot and muggy here. Lol Then I start my Christmas crafting in early October so I have everything ready for events in November & early December.
I am so into Fall crafting…I already have some customers asking when I will have some ready..thanks so much for putting this video out there..
I craft fall Halloween and Christmas honestly whenever the mood strikes me. I start decorating fall in august ❤🎉
Love autumn colors. Those leaves on the mantle look so nice.
Your pumpkin you made and stiffed is just like making yoyo's. Just they are about the size of a coin. For material, I have bought sweaters at thrift stores fo 99cents. They make cute pumpkins.
Your pie slices would look great on a tiered tray
Oh my goodness……I Love Fall❤😊Love the garland with the leaves, also the leaves and pumpkins in tea pot. But Love all your ideas, Can’t wait to start creating 😂 I usually start looking for ideas a month or two before hand
Usually decorate for fall the end of September or early October. Whenever I have time. All great. Can't wait for what is to come.
September-October for Fall/Halloween. Then November-December for Christmas. I have a metal pumpkin with a witches hat and Christmas wreath on hooks by my front door year round.
Fall is my favorite time of year. Can't start fall crafts to soon❤
I don't start decorating til near the end of September. Small house, don't need much. Haha! But I did do the moon! Love it!!!
Fall DIYs are great and even some Christmas deco as well.
I have already started doing my fall, DIY’s! I love these great ideas! I start putting up all fall decor, Labor Day weekend! Dreaming of cooler days and pumpkin spice lattes!🎃☕️🎃
I started decorating for Fall at the beginning of August. I love Fall; so many ideas to decorate with.
love them all but have to say the shirt and sweatshirt are my favorites
I decorate for fall as soon as the preseason football starts at the end of August.
I decorate for fall mid-August, then add Halloween mid-October.
I put up my fall decor after Labor Day. I do any fall crafting in Aug. I put my Halloween decor up around Oct 1st, and do any crafting in Sept. Then it comes down November 1st, and I put up my Thanksgiving decor. I do any Thanksgiving crafting in Oct. Then the weekend of Black Friday, I take all fall/thanksgiving decor and decorate for Christmas which I leave up until after New Years. I do any Christmas crafting in Nov.
I start crafting for fall in August and decorate in September.😊
I'm looking forward to Fall. You create the best DIYs. Can't wait to see what you create this Fall and Christmas season.
Thank you! 😊
@@Whiskeyandwhit you're welcome, Whit.
I recreated a few of these diys last fall. I start making my fall diys in early August, and I start decorating for fall after Labor Day.
It’s a cool 68 degrees in our house; so decorating for Fall has begun. 😂 Thank you for your AWESOME ideas. I use them in my classroom as well as our home. ❤❤❤
I love summer so I push fall decorations off till late September. Thanks Whitney for all the wonderful DIYs! Your channel is the best, in my opinion!
I usually start for fall in August because fall is my favorite. However by November I'm ready for a change. Although the last several years I've not really felt like decorating and undecorating.
I always decorate for fall on September 1st every year. That way I can enjoy it all the way through Thanksgiving.
Love that!
I have already started crafting and decorating. I know that’s too early for most but I love fall and I want time to enjoy my decor.
September is my time for fall decorating.
I decorate for fall right after Labor Day. I can’t wait!
Oh I start months ahead of time! I mean I start crafting ahead. That way it's ready when I'm ready to put it out! Plus u gotta get it when u see it or it's gone! So once I have the crafts in my possession, I'm excited to craft so I start months I'm advance! Lol! 🙌😄😊
I usually put my Fall stuff out about September 1. It's my favorite time of year, so even if it's still boiling hot here in Arkansas I get to enjoy fall in the house with the air conditioning on.
When the mood hits
The moon is perfect!! 👏🏻👌🏻🌙
I am ready to decorate right now for fall. My wife, (her name is also Whitney!

I start in September. I like to hold on to Summer as long as I can 😊
I start decorating for fall mid August, when the weather starts getting a little cooler and then keep that up all the way through November
Awesome video. Thank you. Fall is my favorite so I usually start decorating in August. I can craft for fall at anytime.

Yay! Thank you!
I made the pumpkin pie slices a few years ago from one of your videos and look forward every year to pulling them out. Would love to see more kinds of pies.
I’ve watched this video twice and loved everything! I am looking forward to fall weather😅. I have many of the items for some of these projects. I am so excited!
I DIY for holidays all year long! However, I decorate for Fall/Thanksgiving/ Halloween Sept. 1 and decorate for Christmas day after Thanksgiving.
Loved the family line up 😂😂❤
I say any time is perfect for Autumn decor! :)
Decorate for fall in September, crafts for fall all year long 😅 any excuse to craft!!!
Preach!
Working some new fall to add to my current fall decor, it all goes up the weekend after Labor day and stay up till Thanksgiving. Love all your diys.
Whitney, I use a different method to make pumpkins. Cut fabric into a long rectangle. The longer the rectangle the fuller the pumpkin will be. And the height of the fabric is the height. Stitch the short ends together and run a basting stitch at both the top and the bottom. Pull the basting thread and tie it off to make the bottom of the pumpkin then stuff, pull the top basting stitch to close. Then use a contrasting (or complimentary) color to make the "indents. They are gorgeous. Use fleece for a gorgeous result. You can put whatever is available for the stem. Just thought you might want another possibility.
Sounds beautiful! Thanks for sharing 🍂
Hi, Whitney! My local Dollar Tree store has a fully stocked Dollar Tree Plus section and I found an easel sign that reads, "Hocus Pocus Candy Shop Trick or Treaters Welcome". I snatched that as quickly as I could because there was only one! It was $5 and can be used for so many things by covering the Halloween part (but not permanently covering it). For once, I bought it when I saw it because I know this won't be around long. Love your craft projects!
After watching your fall videos - I'm ready now - ❤.
I start DIY-ing for fall and Halloween now. I start decorating for fall Sept. 1st, transition it to Halloween decor Oct. 1st, and transition it back to fall Nov. 1st.
I wait for the first day of fall for decorating, September 22. Which happens to be day after my birthday so I’m typically off with work. Crafting I will do when the mood strikes and when I have time.
I sell my crafts so I need to start early usually in July for Fall.
Holiday follows. I do not do signs as I don't have a circuit. I do decor pieces from fabric, ornaments and floral. This year I am trying some resin and air dry clay.
Fall is my favorite time of year. Love the colors.
I ❤ your video. It gave me lots of ideas.
Since I’m not a fan of Dollar Tree, I would love to see more videos using a little higher quality products 😘😘
You're in luck - I just posted a new fall video today: czcams.com/video/CIaDIw58ObI/video.html
I don’t decorate the house until September but my husband starts his woodworking Halloween crafts in July and starts selling them in August
I like to decorate for fall after Labor Day.
I normally start decorating for the holidays in August.
For fall I usually start in August early August to DIY and then I decorate 1 September, and then the same thing for Halloween Thanksgiving and Christmas
Started with fall decor already, because at the pace I move it takes awhile! 😂🤣😂🤣
I like to have time to do projects instead of being rushed too!
I start fall decorating after Labor Day!
Love everything you do, Whit!!! Great examples always!!🎉🎉🎉
I start decorating around the beginning to middle of September!
I start my apple decor (I live next to an orchard and have apple trees myself) Mid August. I add school accessories for back to school then take that away when kids start up. I’ll keep apples through September then I’ll start my natural|witch themed Halloween the last week of September ❤️
So fun! 🍎
I love these all! I made several of those garlands and fabric pumpkins last year! Love the moon! I usually start decorating just before labor day. Summer never ends here in Florida...lol.
I decorated yesterday!! I couldn’t wait any longer 😌
Hope you enjoyed it!
Summer warmth showed up Just after the 4th of July here in Southwestern MT. [58° on the 4th], sobim definitely not ready for fall! 😅 But I thank you for the reminder to grab my crafting supplies before I'm outta luck! 😊 BTW, the pumpkin 'indents' are called 'ribs'. 😊 LOVE your channel! Especially the wooden fence picket projects! Have a blessed day!
I usually decorate for early for fall. It's my favorite season. Gonna start decorating soon
Same here!
