@@jrmurphypoet That is not true, majority of us kiwis treat everyone with respect regardless of their culture. Tourists that come and live in New Zealand don't push others out of homes. I'm an Information Technology student here in New Zealand. New Zealanders are often very accepting of foreigners in general. It is a beautiful place to live and to work. After travelling overseas to places less fortunate than us, I can say I'm very blessed to be a NZ citizen and live in this country and I know not everyone can say that! After I graduate in 2020, my plans are to work in IT for a couple of years while I gain the requirements to become a police officer. The requirements to become a police officer are: - You must be at least 17 years old to apply and 18 when you start at Police College, there’s no upper age limit - You must be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or have New Zealand permanent residency - You must be able to speak, read, write and listen in English - You must be physically fit - You must have good eyesight (minimum visual standard of 6/12 unaided in each eye, correctable to 6/6 with contact lenses or glasses) - And you must have a full New Zealand Driver’s Licence. You’ll also need to: - Let our recruitment staff know about any previous criminal or traffic convictions including warnings, court appearances, and diversions - Provide police clearance for any other country that you have worked or lived in for longer than three months. JR Murphy I know you really don't care about other peoples opinions. You being like 'fuck the world fuck everything' is not doing yourself any favours. If you want to change the world maybe do something about it rather than just scrolling through YT comments and bashing people who want to try to help. If you're against the NZ Police or NZ in general thats your opinion but whats your opinion doesn't necessarily mean its everyone elses. Also if you hate New Zealand so much maybe move to somewhere you're more comfortable? Just a suggestion.
NZ police are pretty relaxed since crime here isn't that prevalent, but there are a few I've met who have been beyond difficult over the years, but I'd say they are the exception not the rule.
Does the law of checkin balancing apply to the public only!!! or the government as well !!!??? because the government officials are not being checked and balanced most of the times?????
@Kaay s nah that’s not why, you’re saying it for the benefit your off sider and other members of the public that may be around. You call it before hand so no one (especially your off sider) runs in front of the line of fire and then again afterward to ensure they are aware you have fired your taser (so they can move in to control/ cuff the suspect)

Good life!
Study Hegel boy. He determined the shape of thinking in the 21st century.. Kia kaha!
do all recruits take the same courses at the police college? or are individual interests considered at all?
it's training to be a police officer, not a university.
Does the law of checkin balancing apply to the public only!!! or the government as well !!!??? because the government officials are not being checked and balanced most of the times?????
How long does police college go for? Like now maybe months- years do you trains there?
Courtney Sheil it goes for 16 weeks
Lol taser taser taser 50000 volts!
Hahaha sounds so dumb.
Do they actually have to say that in. Real life
Vii Nguyen - Yes, because everyone needs to be warned before being tasered. Otherwise you could be sued.

Very unlikely that you’ll be able to. Guess you’ll have to find another way to help people
