Really amazing, though it really helps to understand Polish. It's a pretty brilliant, punked-out take on old Polish street bands from the interwar period. I'm glad people are digging this. Also, props for using Tuwim's poetry! :)

Beautiful music about exciting times for Poland! There is only one important detail about scenography :) The district Nikiszowiec (Katowice), where video was made, had been built by Germans between 1908-18. The area and the buildings were designed by architects Emil and Georg Zillmann. Hańba! "Niemcy się zbroją!" ;)

For all curious about the lyrics, I've roughly translated the second song ("Żandarm") to english.
Just be aware, that polish they use is not very contemporary, thus virtually
impossible to be directly translated to contemporary english.
However I hope you will have at least some basic idea on what they're singing about.

I don't know enough old worlds and phrases in english so that I'm gonna use a little bit of present speach instead. It's not a real translation, it just shows a little about the sense of the lirycs:
1) "Korporancik"
What a beautifull boy? So handsome, so charmful, so brilliant, and so on and so on... Then: But he's goddamn government career man! He's abusing the People, he's not fair, he's lieing, he's egoist and opportunist and bloodyhell yuppi and so on and so on. Damn with him! Punks not dead!
2) "Żandarm"
Damn with Military Policeman! As long as I'm civilian he can do me nothing. No matter how suspicious about me would he be. For me there is regular Police. 4) "Żyda bić"
Russins gonna beat the Jew, Polish gonna beat the Jew, officers gonna beat the Jew, civilians gonna beat the Jew. Easy men, not everyone at the same time! 5) "Budżet"
For schools, for military, for police, for flowers for something, and something else and so on and so on. So much money, so many numbers, economy is so hard to understand for regular folks. They don't know what is income and what is porofit and what is expense and what is other financial phrase and what is another one, andt they can't imagine how many shose it would be or how much bread niether how much butter, so economy is confuding for them and it's sad a little bit and so on. Actually nothing about government at last ;]
6) "Bij bolszewika"
Fight the bolshie! Punch the bolshie! Club the bolsie! Kick the bolsie! Attack him with regular weapon! Attack him with improvised weapon! Attack him with bare hands! Attack him so he run away! Damn bolshevism! Screw bolshevism! Punks not dead!
7) "Niemcy się zbroją"
Germans are getting armed! Germans are getting armed! They're preparing gas and tanks and guns and whole the september's wehrmacht stuff to attack us! Goddamn, be aware! Stay awake!
