Oh get a grip. In order to have the features it has it needs information, user information. If you’re so concerned about information/privacy maybe you should get rid of Google, Apple and any other software or hardware that uses your data.

I was about to lay into you about using Eufy products until the end of your video. You should have started with the explanation first it would have saved me a lot of frustration i'm glad I watched the entire video. I love Eufy products. You earned my sub.
I've been using Eufy security cameras for years, and last year swapped my old security service for the Eufy solution as well (door and window sensors and alarm monitoring service). No complaints here! I use the Eufy Solocam S220 as my solar powered solution. It's less expensive, but a smaller battery and solar charging surface than this one.
I've got the Eufy WiFi model installed with the solar panel in the Seattle area & it's keeping the camera charged with no issue even with our cloudy environment.
We still have privacy left, who knew!

@@denoftools I bought mine mid-December and I think it was early Jan when I got it put on my Tacoma. I have a heated shop and had it up to 60 in there and it was still a bear to get it snapped. I had a hard shell top on the truck before the Tacoma and I really liked that. But, I know I will like being able to fold it down when I need better access to the bed.
My softopper is dying after years of use but I love it and would buy another one in a heartbeat.
I have eufy products. Two S4 cameras one S340 camera and a video doorbell. They work incredibly well. And no hidden fees they are great.

So what do you do for 4G? Add a line to your current plan or do you get a seperate plan and bill for all of your 4g wireless camera(s)? (Through Eufy, or?)
Get a data only line through your carrier.
I was a chief engineer at a classified government facility, security was told to over watch there weapons storage facility with cameras, they didn’t run it through me so when they finished the whole system was it was killable with toe nail trimmers. There were wood supports for cameras the would fail in a few year. All for $38K. It ended up costing an extra $15K. All the cameras had to move so exposed wires were protected. Wood was switched for steel.
But what important is cameras need to be high enough to not be reached by a guy using a pallet as a ladder. Last tip if the cameras cost more than the $50K each they need to be reached by bucket truck only and then make sure the air field manager approves them first not after they are installed. That turns a $400K project into $650k project all because I took a 2week vacation and the engineering Karen took over my project and People put a rush on it.
I’m curious on a camera that I could setup to have an eye on the RV. I can setup a hotspot but not sure what camera would be best. 🤷🏻♂️
Cameras are just like Tools. They need a different one for different jobs. So you need to figure out what resolution you need whether you need night time how much area do you need to cover? Do you need 4G? Do you need solar answer all that it will really narrow it down.

New studio but we rent. All the CA migrants and hollywood types have driven the property up here to insane levels. Average home prices just hit $1mil. I'm waiting for a crash before I invest.
Personally, they’d need to prove to me a bit more that they indeed change their stripes. But they do have good equipment and so far they’re going down the right path to make me think they might be trying to change their ways.
The only thing I will add is that this was a paid video. If you go to 17:00 I laid out everything they did. They still paid me to say that they lied, lol. Compare that to a company like Segway that threated to blacklist me just because I called out a few flaws in their product. At the end of the day it's your money and you have to make that call.
@@denoftools I listened to what you said and admit they did a lot since they lied. I just expect a bit more even from a company, especially when they mess up. I do love how they paid you to say they lied. It was pretty funny.

@@joedavis7202 I could not find footage that shed the length of the cable but I remember it being excessively long Pictures show it being three to 4 feet but you never know how much is curled up behind the panel. That said, Jeff, maybe I missed it but this unit have a motion sensor tied to an automatic record for when Im away from home?
It isn’t a separate unit it uses motion tracking in the video
