- We had a successful tournament day out of bluffers marina where we targeted big kings in moderately shallow water. we got the right bites and ended up piecing together a healthy 6 fish box for the win.
Hope this gets you fired up for another summer of salmon fishing!

This is one of the greatest memories I have as a child on my grandfathers boat the Katherine J back in the 90’s. Won a few tournaments ourselves. Great times
I got to fish the north end. We never get action like that in Port dalousie. I noticed you don't have any snubbers on your dipsy lines. Those are pretty cool rods too. Tourney fishing is quite different in that it often brings out the worst in people because money and competition are in play. The greenhorn on your deck was obvious, but he didn’t get screamed at and blamed for this or that. Having fun with each other is the key. Many get too greedy and it makes them crazy.
No one on board is a greenhorn 😂 Every person on board had something they brought to the table.
