I was a cop for twenty years, I picked up plenty of motorcycle riders off the streets in my time sometimes missing body parts but still very much alive. I can tell you it’s not personal even though the riders sometimes tried to make it personal by flipping me off. I always applied first aid and comforted the riders when they didn’t know if they would live or die and if they were dead I always showed respect when loading them into the coroner van. I always knew that a family member, maybe a mother knew that she had told her son or daughter the day they came home with that motorcycle to be careful and always worried her son or daughter might get killed riding the motorcycle.. I feel sorry for the mother and fathers out there.

The officer at the end was just doing his job. He is tired of cleaning up accident scenes of stupid drivers/riders. His explanations were needed because both parties apparently didn’t know the laws regarding passing on double yellows. He was calm and very reasonable.
Agreed. He kept arguing with the cop and the cop was obviously frustrated at the bikers arguing becasue arguing he was obviously saying what he did was justified or ok , the fact is on a single double yellow line you CAN NOT PASS until a car is pulled OUT of that lane. That’s the law, it’s simple but the guy kept arguing the girl was letting him pass or pulled to the right or he thought she was pulling over but the fact was he was side by side with her in 1 lane , he “overtook” the car while it occupied at least part or all of the lane , thst is against traffic local and state traffic laws, end of story . So when a cop who probably has 15-20 years doing his job has someone arguing about a simple and clear law , he gets upset . If the guy had immediately said either “oh, I didn’t realize she hd to be fully out of my lane” or better yet “I’m sorry , she was letting me pass and I knowingly illegally made a mistake I regret” the cop likely would have let them go. He gets initially frustrated becasue like he’s said he’s cleaned up too many accidents there ,..an apology would have likely cooled him down but immidately the biker goes to excuse mode which pisses the cop off Becasue it’s not logical. Then the poor young mom that was trying to be nice and let the bike pass get the pissed off cop waking over to her after the biker argued , so he sucks for causing that scenario on the young woman. I’m tellin ya,..I rode 26 years of sport bikes and Supernakeds and every encounter where I immidately pull over even sometimes before his lights go on and I immidately admit wrongdoing and stupidity and vocally express I won’t ever do it again, it 100% of the time ended good! I’m always respectful to police officers and have found it pays back every time. What many people don’t know is whether you argue or admit wrong doing or are apologetic or respectful , if a ticket is written tickets that go to court or require an appearance , the officer often notes particular behavior, “driver alnowledged mistake & was very respectful “ or “rider was instantly verbally combative , failed to understand their mistake “…the judges see these comments and often take them into their consideration when handing down punishments /consequences and I guarantee you a judge reading some guy argued his mistake and was disrespectful is going to get the full punishment verses a judge reading the rider was respectful to authority and aknowledged the mistake immidately” becasue the judge knows if he lets off that person they’ll likely see it as mercy and lucky and not do it again and the one that argues clearly doesn’t see it so he punished him in hopes he gets it and maybe thinks twice next time.
If you’ll be respectful , shut up for the most part , admit wrong doing or being stupid or explain yourself and you’ll be surprised at the outcome.
I once downed a slurpee really fast before a hot ride and found myself on the interstate needing an immediate restroom or I was going to have an embarrassing accident on my Ducati 999R. Traffic was light and I hauled ass to get to the next exit thst I knew a gas station was at. I was wellllllllll exceeding the speed limit when I passed a highway patrol BMW motorcycle,..I immidately before he even indicated he was comming after me, began rapidly stopping and stepping off the bike with it turned off. He pulled up lights on & asked why on earth I was riding so fast and I responded in a bit of panic my scenario and I asked respectfully , can you please follow me to the gas station for my trucker before I have explode, I said I was sorry for speeding and tried to do it safely but understood I broke the law & was sorry. He cut me off near the end of that saying “go ahead & get to University ave, there’s a gas station just off the exit.” I thought he was going to follow for a ticket becasue my speed was definitely justifying it but was shocked as he followed me and didn’t turn off the exit with me. Not even a warning and didn’t even check my license or plate. My point is if your honest and respectful and penitent or at least acknowledge your stupid choice most cops are going to respond positively. He could see the desperation in my face and voice lol and probably empathized where he could imagine someone $hitting themselves on a bike and having to ride home to a significant other or family and saw I wasn’t breaking the law for fun & that incident was understandable so he let me go and I’ve remembered that all these years and it’s shaped a positive experience and opinion of our officers thst are jsut doing their job , their people too thst understand mistakes and being stupid.
They’re very largely not punishers, sure there are a few short man syndrome ones or someone picked on thsts getting back at society but that’s few and far between!!! When I hang out with my two awesome siblings that are cops, if anyone could see them not as 24/7 cops but as the awesome human beings they are ,..they’d have a different opinion of them when encountering them instead of judging becasue they see a badge and gun.

Dude on the zx6r kinda deserved that, cause what could've been a simple warning to not do wheelies has now gotten him a totalled bike, medical bills, a felony evasion charge, and a reckless driving charge, as well as how ever many tickets he will be receiving for all the red-light he ran through. I swear some Bikers don't think about the consequences when it comes to them being dumb in the first place, don't do wheelies on busy public roads, go find some back roads or something to stunt on, not in the middle of the damn city where there's gonna be cops around every corner.
Not to mention the long time killers,..when his insurance gets the report , he’ll be dropped instantly and NO insurance is going to even look at him unless they’re charging 8-10x the rate but he’ll be lucky to get insured period after that. That stays on your insurance record for at least 7 years depending on the state and license for 7-10 so future officers adn judges see this pop up aren’t going to be very lenient. Hell gonfrom paying $75-150 a month full coverage to $700-1000 a month IF he can find someone to cover him and he’ll pay that monthly for 7-10 years. Hell also be held accountable for his own bike , if he’s got a loan the insurance won’t pay for his repairs , they want their bike fixed and he’ll be paying for it , banks require full coverage insurance too so he’ll have to pay the crazy high rates or more likely , sell the bike after he’s paid impound fees of $200+ a day casue thst bikes getting impounded for sure. End result is likely he’ll either get out of riding becasue he can’t legally afford it OR he’ll I’ll Illegally ride an uninsured bike which will make him run more from police and someday have a worse accident . Aside from all that if he got injured at all in the accident , he’s dealing with that. Even a collision like that where he seems ok, usually comes with injuries when the adrenaline wears off,..shoulder , knee, wrist ,..or most common spinal /back/disc damage /compressions /fractures. People don’t realize just how fragile the spine is , sure it may not break but it’s not hard at all to get a compression fracture that you wave off as a sore back from an impact. Accidents are unexpected and impact when your brain isn’t able to try to out the body in its most protective state end up in a spine compressing or twisting hard and not in a way it’s supposed to resulting in cracks , fractures, disc chips , cartel eye damage etc and all of them get worse over time and I’ll tel ya as someone with 3 compression fractures of the spine and L2 L3 nerve damage , it doesn’t get better in time. It may hurt less when you “heal up” but hit your 40’s and it all comes back

The clip at 7:00 whoever edited these videos does not understand the rules of the road apparently. The rule is you can ONLY overtake if necessary. If the car was signalling he didn’t need to go around. If the car was broke down on the road then yes he is allowed to overtake because it is necessary. Just because he’s on a bike he still must adhere to the same rules as cars. Patience is a virtue.

@@LockInRonaldo The biker crossed the double yellow a few times, driver was making a legitimate turn. Biker has a second video showing him wimping out to the driver.
I like how in the one video he made the statement the driver crossed a double yellow to turn after this guy was passing a line of cars on the same double yellow not to mention all the other violations

4:24 How is that the womans fault? The rider drove irresponsibly fast and broke practically every rule in the book. She could have never anticipated the biker to come past her that fast.
Also, in many states you are allowed to cross double yellow lane markings for turning (ex. Washingtion state: "You may cross [double] yellow lane markings, except medians, to turn left when it is safe.").
