Indeed 1st time pregnancy and delivery both are life changing experiences, I was also induced upon completion on 40 weeks I did get minor contractions after induction but was not dilated at all. After being induced for 12 hours and no dilation the doctors decided to operate and did the C Section . I was admitted at 5:30 am and the baby was born at 8:35 via c section. I was in labor ward all alone seeing other ladies screaming and crying. Thanx for sharing your experience. C section does heal a bit late but it's not like you will be on bed for that long. I was on my feet with in 12 hours trying to walk inside the room and on the 3rd day I went to the car bt walking. You need to be careful only. Although C section is a major surgery and the scar and minor pain or itchiness stays for long but it's nothing when you are blessed with babies. Allah paak sabko olad jesi nemat se nawazey. I have 3 kids all with C Section. Alhamdulillah

A few things as I gave birth a few months ago. The med they give to increase the dilation is “Pitocin” the pain reliever gas is Nitrous Oxide also known as The Laughing Gas. N also epidural is not inserted in the spin it is inserted in the gaps between the vertebrae.

I was on my last day of 39 week that is 40 week i started with the labour pain in the night 8.30 it was really minute like a cramp i went to the hospital the doctor checked she said u can go back and come tomorrow but I decided to stay at the hospital so gradually the pain increased by time i was with video call with my husband as he was out of country.... By the that didn't help no motivation u will get as u are too busy handling the pain .... The entire night i was crying and screaming because the intensity of pain was quite a alot i mean alot .... Unimaginable i was just complaining that no one told me the real truth of labour and all and was screaming ki c section karwa do doctor ko bula do and all i used to literally go near the wall face wall ko laga ke i was crying because walking really helps when the contractions come by the time it was 5 in the morning i literally gave up .... I was saying stuff like i don't want to live this is very painful nd all nd i was 6 cm in .... My sis my brother my dad came in the morning and was helping me walk as it was giving me little relief so when the doctor came around 8 i remember she checked me i Guess my water broke nd was bleeding.... She checked i was around 7-8 cm in .... But the baby heart rate was dropping she checked with different instruments to check.... But the heart rate was dropping.... If i wanted for an hour i would have normal delivery.... But Allah ki marzi the OT was prepped for someone else delivery but i was taken immediately.... The doctor held me nd took asap Didn't even gave me time to change my clothes as it had blood stains.... Alhamdulillah by 8.45 my baby girl was born i was more eager to know the baby eye colour as my husband has green eyes my mother too so it's in the blood i anticipated for blue or green eyes but they wer black i was happy to see my baby healthy... Alhamdulillah se i was able to walk on my feet next day but let me tell u the healing process is just so daaaaam tough.... If u sit u can't get up .... I used to take literally half an hour to just rotate nd stand up.... That really broke me i used to literally cry when i was soo helpless nd in pain .... ... Alhamdulillah my baby is good she is 6 months now i have very bad shoulder nd lower back pain i hope it goes away soon....

When l had my son years ago in Ittefaq hospital in Lahore l had an amazing gynaecologist. She had studied abroad and we had already discussed my birth plan and the epidural was on top of my list. Being from the UK l knew exactly what l wanted and would be needing. I beared it for as long as l possibly could and knew when it was time for intervention. A good gynaecologist will always discuss your options with you.

But any good Gynaecologist will be thorough and ahead in their field. You require someone who gets to know you and your concerns personally and will offer guidance accordingly. Best of luck to those who are going through pregnancy and birth. It may seem daunting but at least we have the benefits of hospital care and pain relief. When l hear about how my maid came home from work to give birth to her fourth baby all on her own and having had all her children at home l look at her with admiration

But tbh, after coming out of delivery room i decided to keep the secret of that room in that room and not tell about the experience i had to everyone because if i would have seen your video before my delivery mai shyd apna BP high krke beth jati ya apni halat khouf ki wajah se khrb krleti by listening k kitna pain hota hai.
My friend had her delivery 5 days after mine and she lept asking me about my exp and i told her it was all good bus thora dard hota etc etc so it gave her strength and thats what i would suggest all the ladies out there k pls pls us kamre k raaz ko usi kamre main rehne dein. I had experience of both Natural and C-section delivery, i personally think natural delivery is easy. No doubt pain intensity is very high and it ended when baby is delivered, but in C-section everything is normal when baby is delivered but pain starts after the delivery and it takes months to heal. The worst feeling is depending on others . In Ceasern it is even hard to feed the baby. I think 1 day of pain is better than 2 months of pain.

i also had my csection in 2022,,, c-section is one of the worst thing ever one experience....i got my water bag leaked on 36 week, i had intensed pain and dilated 10cm,, my baby head was also showing,,but my doctor was very very very pathetic,, she did not even help me to deliver naturally, i was just begging to her to have my normal delivery, but she dramatically made my family panic and took me to operation theatre...
i will never ever forget this. my Doc was Doctor Attiya from university of lahore teaching hospital. i request you guys pls don't visit her, she is only money making doctor, she has no concern with the patient but she only need money...
c section is worsttttttttttt,, you are not even able to feed your child... due to pressure i got my stitches open after a month... 😢😢😢 then again i rushed to the hospital and had further 25 days treatment to heal my stitches...

But i had no progress, my boy was floating in my belly (lol) but tbh very honestly within 2-3 weeks you can’t even recall you had a major surgery. I did hurt in first 2 weeks. Your lower abdomen hurts when you move, you’re scared if you move to your side while sleeping your stitches might open up and bleeding. But i still believe its a better option than getting stitches down there and getting all the pains. Im so paranoid about vaginal delivery

Thank you for sharing your experiences. It is so important to share how strong we women are! On another note, here in the US, docs don't give anything to eat or drink after being induced to prevent vomiting or other gastric issues. I was given epidural then I was induced with my first (ended up having a c-section!), it's definitely an experience! So, I have had 2 c-sections and I was up and about within 2-3 weeks. My gyno is a surgeon, and the cut was very precise. My stitches came out in 5 days. He had me do sit-ups after 2 weeks to be able to strengthen the internal muscles. I was active with my 2nd baby in less than 2 weeks. C-section was the best!

Shortly it just depends on the mother!! Noone else even husbands bhi nahi kam atay 😅 i mean jab tak maa nahi chahe gi she can get back normal phir chahe jese bhi baby deliver ho unless YES agar health wise koi aur issues hain toh

Oh my God, your birth story made me all teary.🥲 Masha'Allah Masha'Allah, may Allah pak grant your baby with blessed and healthy long life ameen.❤️ Giving birth naturally is truly a blessing I would say. I'm carrying my second baby at the moment and this video reminded me of so many events that took place when I had my first one. I wanted to have him naturally but couldn't. Now seeing alot of girls giving birth naturally having the same height as mine, it pains me that my gyno didn't let me even try to have mine naturally, because she was convinced I couldn't. But let me tell, I WAS dilated and having contractions naturally so I'm pretty sure I could've done it too. Anyway lots and lots of prayer for you and your family.💕
P.S: And to all the girls reading this, my advice is to please choose your gynecologist wisely and ALWAYS Have second opinion, if you're not satisfied with the advice your current doctor is giving you.

Okay. Normally, I never comment on anything online as such but watching this video I just had to say this because of the way this video is done and also, knowing the kind of mentality and culture we live in, I really wanted to get a few thoughts out here. It's not me nitpicking but correcting some really misleading info, facts and perspective.
    1) I think you meant a Cannula and not a catheter. Cannula is inserted into a vein in your hand or arm. It's where you receive all your intravenous fluids like your antibiotics, your drips etc etc.
    2) It's Episiotomy and it's done to avoid natural excessive tearing of your muscles during vaginal delivery. Nothing to do with the use of forceps or vaccum. It's standard practice and will be done no matter what kind of situation you are going through in your natural delivery process.
    3) You have spoken about method of delivery as if it's a choice that everyone just automatically has. Which is not true. No one can fully control how their child comes into the world. One can plan all they want but the situation at hand ends up telling us what's best for the child and the mother in that moment. Sometimes, it's a choice but even then it's not like a personal preference taken so lightly like "oh I feel like I want to deliver this way so I'll do that". I don't think you might have meant it that way. But it came off like that.
    4) Please Please PLEASE STOP making a joke out of C-section. I don't know what you were trying to do or say by repeatedly saying C-section ho sakta hai. Whether you mean to or not. I've heard these phrase far too many times. Stop treating C-section like it's a trip to candy land. God! As someone who delivered via C-section, let me tell you this. It was the most scary procedure of my entire life and I've had many surgical procedures done on me from ages 25 days old - 20 yrs old. Stop treating C-section like an easy way out. Mazak nahi hai to have 7 layers of your body cut open and being awake during that procedure. To hear and smell everything. Longest 45 mins of my life. Both deliveries are extremely difficult and painful in their own way. Stop with the comparisons! Please use your platform and your influence to inform better and educate better. Better than this video did.
Again, whether you intended it or not I found these points to be really really bothersome.
Please discuss such topics with great care and consideration. Your info on epidural was also a little bit so-so.

C section is fine vaginal birth is hell.. too too painful. It took me 12 hours to only get to 6cm.. also the worst is when the dr inserts her hand to see how much u have dilated.. tahts an other kind of pain.. and then getting induced .. salute to all
