That looks like a very handy tool. Kudos on planning and execution
Awesome build. Thank you.
This solution was pretty cool 👌🏻👏🏻
Pretty cool
Thank you for this video!
The biggest problem (for me) with using pallet lumber is the amount of time it takes to break them down into useful boards.
This will help speed the process up.
And save my aching back as well! :)
Thank you!!!
Glad you got some value in it. I doubt it will last forever or is even as good as a proper metal one but it did the job I needed it to do.
New sub here from down under , pallet wood worker here great idea as breaking the beasties apart is the time consuming part indeed. Will try this build anything to cut down on the time breaking pallets apart.
AWESOME... i found scrap look similar to yours think I'll give it a try.... free pallet wood = money.
I owned a very small business designing and building furniture from pallets,I could of really used one of these
You are amazing! Don’t give up on yourself. You have a dream - chase it. Listen to Les Brown.
Cool project. I've ben looking a little closer at pallets these days as well.
With the cost of wood only going up and an infinite supply of pallets kicking around, its got me looking at them in a different light.
Lifesaver. Thanks, Ryan.

hi there a super good idea. I will have to make one as I am always breaking up pallets
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Very cool pry-bar! Solves one of the issues tearing down pallets! Now if you can just make one that pulls the nails, too! Many thanks - keep it up!
Thanks for your support my friend! I’m excited to get some momentum going with the channel.

What kind of wood did you use for the ( forks ) ?
I made one as soon as I saw your video, but used a pine 2x6x8 ft and broke the right fork after 5 pallets , but it did 5 pallets in 15 mins both sides . Took about an hour to make, with a nice smooth handle.
I made mine out of a single 2x4 and I broke a fork on the FIRST pallet!
I made the fork shorter in front (Less length from the tip to the cutoff) and longer after the cutoff. In other words my forks cut off about an inch from the tip.
Not having a band saw, I had to put a large washer on the inside of each fork. works for me.
Nice! But if you had made the middlebar of the fork and the long bar with the same wood, this would've been much easier and you wouldn't have to do the adjustments in 2:07 ro 2:40.
So what are you going to make out of those old pallets
I’ve started working on a patio table. As far from rustic as a table made out of pallets can be.
доски все переломал, проще пилой с таким умыслом, а попробуй все целые оставить доски
Would be kind to your viewers to not slam stuff around. Hard on the ears when listening with ear buds! Thanks, enjoyed your work!
Hay mejores herramientas y no hay que tener un taller😂
You went through all of that to make something that just breaks the boards when disassembling pallets? LMMFAO! Juts use a sledge hammer! WTF
If u lift the centre nail points first before lifting the ends theres much less chance of breaking the ends of each board,i got this tip from another u tube viewer & it def works 👍
Not wasting my time where the content creator is either unwilling or unable to speak and articulate their process.
It’s not useful.

The tool is made wooden, it is rough and it breaks when removing it. Pieces can be glued but take extra work. I think metal work for this tool, it can be more good option.
Ofcourse the crowbar... We can use (already using)
I love handmade tools or other etc. But we will share ours opinion for we can more good thinks.
Take care and keep your hand dirty 👍👍👍
@@ryanhawkins I find it useful. If the wood does not hold up with pulling spiral or ring shank nailed boards, the pattern to make one of steel has been provided! :) Great job of mixing oak, pine, and ingenuity!
Pésimo, va tener que estar cambiando las cuñas porque no creo resistan mucho, mejor invertir en algo de hierro y no perder tiempo con eso...
Nice. I'd loosen the 2 middle rows first before the peripheral ones first to prevent splitting the ends.
