The reason why people say this, is because your money is based on the countries economy! Which means that if you get a credit today and you have to pay off the credit with Ribba, at the end you paid a lot less then if you would have saved the money! It will be actually the case that prices on housing for example tripled or Quatrupled until you'd be able to pay off a house and your money effectively got less valuable over time. Money today even with ribba is more valuable than similiar amount in 10-20yrs... The only way against this trend today would be if the muslims created their own limited amount of money that can only be increased by actual gains rather than printing money out of thin air as it is performed all around the world! And then get credit from banks without ribba as it does not decrease in value, if this is even possible for banks! So factually you participate in ribba without actually getting credit these days! You get your money from your country which is given value and the value goes down because of state created inflation! How do you for example buy a house or a flat without ribba? Or are we supposed to not buy things any longer and simply rent it? Which basically means throwing away our money without ever owning the place we live in! Do you know that for example the rich take more credit than the poor, because they know that the money will loose in value over time and they gain right now as they invest and pay back their depts with the money they make! The entire wealthy world today is based on ribba, so how are we supposed to compete if we are not allowed to use financial systems? Are we supposed to create money through business? Should we stop working for others? There will come a time when the middle class will become poor and the good earners will become the middle class to the wealthy... I would love to hear suggestions, how the muslims are supposed to compete in the global environment!

Ideally the main issue is the subject of the money. What is the currency? It's value? Paper money would not be ideal if its value changes. So essentially a currency backed with intrinsic value is a solid answer. Investing in it would be fruitful long term.

You could technically reframe it for islamic countries if this is religiously possible! For example you can buy/sell a house right now for a reduced price or a lot increased price if you want to pay it off over time. This way it would work without the involvement of a credit, ribba or a bank for that matter! Though you are doing defacto the same transaction, the banks are not profitting of your invested money and you are not having debt with ribba but rather, buying percentage of a product. This transaction however is very unfair to the Sellers as they will defacto lose a lot of money! And because the Banks don't give out credits or invest in projects, the countries economy goes down... However you could sell the deal including the rest of ownership to a bank, which in return could pay you in full and they unfortunately will create ribba this way 😅 It's a mess...

Use it as a debit card. I have a credit card and I don't wait until the credit card statement to pay my credit. Every few days I transfer money from my debit card to my credit card. So the bank never charges me interest because I pay my credit before the credit card statement is out. Keep in mind that I only do it because I have way more money in my debit account, so technically I'm never borrowing money from the bank.

This is a little bit nonsense. Yes, Riba or interest is bad but it's part of the economic system we live in. What needs to change is the system or social order. Yes, don't borrow money that you don't have to buy clothes, jewelry, or a fancy car, but if you need to borrow to go to school then do it.
