- This week Phoebe gets to share her life as a fulltime young cruiser with her girlfriend, Oriana. We sail from Airlie Beach to Hook Island where the two girls paddle over to lay on the sand, sun bake, share stories and explore. It's not often Phoebe gets to spend time with her girlfriends while sailing, and the conditions turn ON for them! Glass out mornings, swimming off the boat in pristine blue water, empty beaches for nude swims together - this truly is the island life! Hop aboard 🫡

Phoebe! This video was so warm and enjoyable from start to finish. 10/10 story telling! Miss you guys, our hangs over those past couple days will forever be etched into my memory.
You manage to capture and portray life's abundance. So inspiring
Thank you for this thoughtful comment. We are happy to have you here! Cheers, Josh
What a wonderful video. They just keep getting better and better. Most people will never have a chance to experience it in person. We experience it through you. And that is a blessing for both of us. You for sharing your lives, and us for receiving the gift. Thank you so much.
Lee I really can't tell you just how much this comment means to us, thank you so much for the encouragement and support :) - Phoebe
Lee I agree your comment perfect cheers n beers Marty Qld Australia
As an old introverted male, I appreciate the education. Thanks Phoebe. As a sailor, I understand the pros and cons of the undertaking. The positives far outweigh the negatives and your experiences early on have already been quite numerous in the plus column. Enjoy and don’t worry about those along for the ride.
Thank you very much for this comment, Jon! It's a pleasure to share our journey and thoughts with you. As a sailor you'd understand all that goes into this lifestyle; vlogging and making these videos adds a whole other layer of complexity to it. So it means a lot to recieve the feedback that you enjoy it :) - Phoebe
Whoa, your editing just keeps getting better. Great video!
What a great comment, this means a lot to us! Josh's drone flying skills are improving immensely and I'm finally learning more about colour grading in post-production and other fun things 😆 The goal is to improve every episode, so thanks a lot! - Phoebe
What beautiful footage.

I'm really glad you think so! Thank you for the comment and support, it really does mean a lot to us :) - Phoebe
Yes the effort of taking and editing videos is worth it. It brings a dose of sunshine, laughter, nice scenery and nice people to our (in my case at least) fairly dull lives.
We're very happy and honoured that you welcome us into your lives and allow us to share our adventures with you! Comments like these certainly make it all worth it :) - Phoebe

Hey Abby! Josh here, thanks for the comment. I couldn’t agree more, I was in tears too. Phoebe has an amazing way at conveying emotion and meaning through her writing. I’m really excited to get more of it in there. Best wishes!

There are very few YT channels sailing and showing us the beautiful Queensland coast as good as you guys do. What are you going to do after you've done it? Circumnavigate Aus, cross an ocean, Pacific Islands, New Zealand or juat see what comes up, We would all hate to lose your Vlogs.
Thank you very much! We're doing another season up the QLD coast this year (we're about 8 months behind in our vids right now 😬) and ideally will be heading up to either Indo or French Polynesian islands after that. Lots to consider and much to plan, but one things for certain - as long as it stays fun, we'll always be sailing and vlogging! - Phoebe
What an awesome vlog. So good to see you re connect with a good friend Phoebe & so good to see your friend enjoying the sailing life. A definite hart warming vlog. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

I'll say it again, thanks for sharing. Im glad you got to have one of your "besties" aboard Pheobe. Lots of girlie bits in this one. We don't usually get to watch all the sail raising like at the start of this, you're always to busy to film. Props to you Pheobe, you are much more confident handling the sails. Top stuff. Stay safe. ❤🙏
Hey Steve! Yes it certainly helped having a third person on board to film all the bits we don't usually get to film. But now that we know it's something people enjoy, we'll try to work out a way to safely secure the go pro at the back of the boat so people can see that process. I loved having a girlfriend with me this ep! Glad you loved it too :) - Phoebe
Kudos Josh,
This kind of video is going to accelerate the channel.
Yes we've certainly notice that the channels that feature a woman/women in the thumbnail almost triple their views 😝 I'm still overcoming my shyness on here, but may need to do that sooner rather than later by the sounds! - Phoebe
We hate the knocking of the mooring balls on our hull. But we were told of a hack from a couple, they blow up a pool tube and put it over that way it doesn’t knock. Yet to try it but when we pull into the next port we will be adding a pretty pink donut 🍩 to our tool kit 🙌🏼
That's actually a pretty great idea! And easy to store too because it deflates. We'll have to give it a try and let you know how we go, or you can if you beat us to it ;) - Phoebe
I love this video so much!!! It had a beating heart.❤️ I can’t wait for my next girlfriend catch up. I’m ringing them now😁
Your videographer abilities and storytelling just keep getting better. Way to go guys. 👏👏
THANK YOU! This comment really warmed us. As we learn more about this whole YT thing we endeavour to improve with our editing and videography etc. "It had a beating heart" is such a gorgeous thing to say. Thanks again :) - Phoebe
ON ON!!
Yes, thank you for sharing your life, and most importanly your gorgouness. OsoYolo, Antigua Guatemala.
Thank you very much! :) - Phoebe
Awesome
Thanks a lot :D - Phoebe
You should have a vimeo version 😉
Why is that Dwade?
G'day guys. Well done Phoebe. Brilliant episode mate, and with one of your friends sharing your experiences as well. Top stuff. Josh very much in the background. Sorry Josh, but this could quite easily bump up your subscriber numbers all by itself, without your help.
Nah, I'm just messing with you. Loving you guys. Keep on keeping on. Hullo to Sonja. Atb from over here in Nz.
Hey Bryan! Thanks very much for that comment, Sonya says hullo and so does Josh, very very far in the background 😂 Stoked that you enjoyed this episode, it was nice to have some girl time - Josh has his mates coming to stay very soon!
Um, I'm pretty sure I'm in love with Oriana. Can we keep her? ❣
The one word that sums up everything you used later "Life." Nice footage. Im still trying to figure out what you mean by being shaken head to toe in the aft. Is that up and down - or forwards backwards assuming the bed is length ways. My steel boat {half built rusty shell / on land} is so rusty Im wondering if to scrap it and do a dream project - instead of pissing with other peoples junk as usual - one that can avoid sea sickness.
Hey David, our aft cabin only allows for sleeping port to starboard. If it’s half built you’re already half way there! Although we both know how fun treating rust is! It’s always a hard call.. cheers mate, Josh
Ha ha ha - not much sushi in Queensland 😂😂 Plenty on land !!!
You need to get to making it yourself with your mans catch!!! We know people who virtually live off the ocean in Qld !
That water on Hook when this was filmed reminds us of the Med! Beautiful!
I really struggled to find good sushi within biking/walking distance from shore. And when you've only eaten fish for weeks, sometimes you'd do anything for an avocado roll 😭 We've made sushi before but honestly nothing beats restaurant made. I think it must be the amount of sugar they put in it 😝 Hook island was up there with an absolute favourite for us, the water colour was the best we've ever seen! - Phoebe
So glad Phoebe was able to spend time with her best girl mate! Also, did you find out what was wrong with the motor for the dinghy.
Hey Donald! Yes I was super thrilled about it, we'll see a bit more of her next episode too before she flies home. And all the outboard needed was a tune! Phew! - Phoebe
Another great episode thanks for sharing with us. What’s wrong with the outboard.
Thanks, Steve! Really happy you enjoyed it. The outboard just needed a tune! Easy fix and very relieving - Phoebe
@Thenewkidsonthedock oh that's OK thought something drastic was wrong with motor was going to try organise something for you guys
1st
So cool! Thank you for watching and being so quick to watch it too hahah - Phoebe
@@Thenewkidsonthedock You've got a nice boat! My plan is to build a Cyber 48 just like Sailing Life on Jupiter has and visit some of the places you've already visited like that crock infested waterfall. That was so epic!
Girls night out
Do some more swinging
Well think about this, what else could you have done in life that would make nearly 20 thousand people want a weekly update from you? see only 900 subs shy of 20K, that alone says these videos are worth the effort 👍
I Hope Oriana is a regular visitor to Innerbloom
Hey Dave! You're too right, we're very fortunate to have so many people choose to tune into our lives once a week. We can't believe that we're almost at 20k! It doesn't feel like a large number in the YT space, but if you think about what 20k people look like in a room it certainly feels bountiful. We're stoked you enjoy the shows :) Ori will be with us for another episode then flies home, but we'll be seeing more of her in the future for sure - Phoebe
I’m convinced that most of the women in Australia are smokin hot.😮
Well that makes sense...our average UV index is 11 😝
Why can’t you eat to much pelagic fish. I realize to much of anything isn’t good. But there is nothing wrong with pelagic fish. They don’t cary Ciguatoxin which can be found around the world in the tropical reef belt between 35 degrees north latitude and 35 degrees south latitude.
From our research, Pelagic Fish have high levels of heavy metals and mercury :) But fine to consume in moderation - Phoebe
Chicks?🥴🥴🥴
Are you referring to the little ducklings in the video? Josh and I had adopted abandoned ducklings for a week before rehoming them :)
