Okay guys, I’ve been in a Venom mood recently so here we go... Many fans consider Daran Norris to be the quintessential Venom voice, and while I can’t say he’s my favourite, I do think it’s the most impressive and influential Venom voice, as well as an _amazing_ demonstration of the Daran Norris’ vocal range; the voice has no alterations added, Norris did it completely naturally! My favourite Venom has always been Hank Azaria. He sounds fittingly over the top and he has just the right filter. Maybe it’s the writing, but I always thought he was the most... human. And that’s one of the things that endeared me to it, I suppose. Brian Drummond is a fitting successor, but maybe a touch too high-pitched for my liking. Ben Diskin works for that particular incarnation of Venom. As a Spectacular fan, you know I mean business when I say it’s not ideal for main Venom. Still a great performance though, and very nostalgic. Topher Grace... okay, I’m in the minority that _doesn’t_ completely hate Spider-Man 3, nor do I only love it ironically; I do genuinely enjoy the movie in a pure sense. Topher Grace as Venom though... look, even as a youngster who was so utterly terrified of the character that I steered clear of 3 initially out of fear, I watched Spider-Man 3 and _that_ is when I got over that fear of Venom. As Eddie Brock, he’s honestly fine. As Venom, he’s freaking ridiculous. I don’t hate it by any means, but sweet Randy Schueller this is bad. He _does_ sound comparatively better in the video game than the movie. Nothing special, don’t get me wrong, but the filters help him out a lot, and I do quite like his “snarky dickhole” approach, I think he does it very well. Keith Szarabajka, on the other hand, sounds genuinely _scary._ His low, gravelly voice is just perfect for a more villainous and hateful Venom... I dunno what happened in the DS port, though. (Also Web of Shadows’s design for Venom is probably my favourite look for him... _ever.)_ Steve Blum’s voice in Ultimate Alliance 3 is a dramatic improvement over his Venom in 1 and 2. His base voice is much more deep and guttural and it actually has the filters over it this time. It’s pretty standard for what you’d expect for “Steve Blum as Venom (Voice of the Legion edition)”, and it’s nothing tremendously remarkable, but it does work. And reportedly it actually strained his voice a bit too. Regardless of what you think of the movie, you can’t deny Tom Hardy was an improvement over Topher Grace. Personally, I really liked the movie and I honestly think he did a really good job, as both Eddie and Venom. I was initially really put off by Eddie’s... bizarre accent, or Venom’s overly-filtered voice in the trailers, but the voices in the movie proved to be both memorable and very fitting, perfectly combining the sense humour and intimidation factor. Heck, I feel Hardy’s Venom is sorta like a perfect hybrid between Norris, Azaria and Szarabajka’s voices. I can understand where the backlash for Andrew Morgado’s Venom comes from. As it is, the voice would fit more for Starscream or something. But, and this is a Cosmic Powered Amazing Spider-Man vs. The Incredible Hulk big butt drawn by Todd McFarlane (look that up, dudes), Morgado’s Venom, when given the correct filters, _can_ sound great. I’m sorta soft on it considering that I actually love the way it sounds when the alterations are added (czcams.com/video/BFjXOu8pH-g/video.html) but I’m not blinded to the fact that the standard voice is just... underwhelming. If it’s any consolation, I think that voice would be a perfect fit for Hobgoblin...? The others range from good, to okay, to... wtf
Holy crap, I had no idea Daran Norris voiced Venom naturally! That is incredibly impressive. How did you find that out? I would love to know where you got that information.
Daran Norris was the best for a more comedic Venom. I still get laughs out of him today. XD Tom Hardy was a good balance between comedic and slightly serious, and I enjoyed his voices. Ben Diskin is my absolute favorite. It's the voice I think of whenever I read Venom's lines in anything.
i enjoyed ben's voice as well! i think there are better venom voices but i think it probably has a lot to do with editing and could easily be fixed. hearing his lines made me wanna go watch the show. there's just smthn about how he says them that grips me
Hank’s Venom is what I grew up with, so that sounds ‘normal’ to me. Whilst Tom Hardy is excellent, the dialogue doesn’t match his menacing tone. Keith Szarabajka actually sounds perfect as Venom.
He's my personal favourite along with Tom Hardy. He didn't get enough dialogue in Web Of Shadows to really be appreciated. He wasn't perfect but if he was in a game with better animation and voice direction then he could have been arguably the best venom.
1 Ben Diskin: He will always be Venom 2 Hank Azaria: A classic 3 Brian Drummond: YESSS 4 Tom Hardy: At least we can understand him (Dark Knight Rises reference) 5 Steve Blum: No Comment
hah, i think, just my opinion, you said Ben Diskin no.1 is because his voice can be 2 voices with a bit different timing, (or different bit) venom's voice first and then eddie's later. so you think he the best voice, which for me, no, he's not the best. but again, it's just my opinion. sorry if i'm wrong....
Tom Hardy Ben diskin Hank azaria Brain Drummond And Tony todd I know the game isn’t out yet but I saw his performance in 1992’s candyman and it sounds perfect for venom and his line in the trailer sounds great too now here’s my hope that green goblin is voiced by Steve Blum

Hank Azaria
Ben Diskin
Tom Hardy
Best Venom characters period.
Agreed
Yep.
Never knew Hank Azaria voiced Venom! Just awesome.
Daran Norris was the best for a more comedic Venom. I still get laughs out of him today. XD
Tom Hardy was a good balance between comedic and slightly serious, and I enjoyed his voices.
11:52 Perfect.
Mein Lieblings Synchronsprecher Ist Jeck esto Weil er enlisch keit mit Billy mow hat
0:52 "Hey! Come on!" XDXDXDXD
Tom hardy.Hes just got the right voice for it its suits all the types of venom's which i think is great.
Facts
Keith Szarabajka (Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows) is hella underrated.
He's my personal favourite along with Tom Hardy. He didn't get enough dialogue in Web Of Shadows to really be appreciated. He wasn't perfect but if he was in a game with better animation and voice direction then he could have been arguably the best venom.
2:27 That dude look like "I am normal" spongebob.
Hank Azaria was the voice I grew up with. Extremely terrifying and snake-like. Ben Diskin is great, and of course Tom Hardy for the win!
The voice I imagine is probably a mix between Hank Azaria, Daran Norris and Tom Hardy. Three of the best Venoms ever.
4:02 I can almost hear Raider from MGRR
Tom Hardy devours the rest like a bunch of turds in the wind.
Energizer Convoy Daran was good
Do you feel me?
Blu Sauce Feel me harder
@@beansandproblems DOOOO YOUUUU FEEELLL MEEEE??
Ohhhhh that was GOOD
1 Ben Diskin: He will always be Venom
2 Hank Azaria: A classic
3 Brian Drummond: YESSS
4 Tom Hardy: At least we can understand him (Dark Knight Rises reference)
5 Steve Blum: No Comment
Nathaniel Arndt Yay
Hey, we have the same opinion this time!
hah, i think, just my opinion, you said Ben Diskin no.1 is because his voice can be 2 voices with a bit different timing, (or different bit) venom's voice first and then eddie's later. so you think he the best voice, which for me, no, he's not the best. but again, it's just my opinion. sorry if i'm wrong....
Daran Norris?
For you
Tony Todd has the best venom voice
Venom 2007: interested?
Venom 2018: do we have a deal?
He doesn’t say “Do we have a deal” in the film. Only in the trailers.
@@ChristianFrates1997 Yes but, these phrases were spoken by them and these are pretty similar
My favorite is definitely Keith Szarabjaka and Tom Hardy!
Wait... Tom Hardy voiced Venom as well? That's an amazing Venom impression.
Hank, Ben, Tom, and Daran are the best hosts er I mean voices for this powerful symbiote.
It's crazy how Tony Todd is literally better than all of these.
Cap
@@BinodiniMahapatra-pz7vvnot cap fax
This showed up on my feed so it is safe to say that Tony Todd is the best Venom.
Tony Todd.
Tom Hardy
Ben diskin
Hank azaria
Brain Drummond
And
Tony todd
I know the game isn’t out yet but I saw his performance in 1992’s candyman and it sounds perfect for venom and his line in the trailer sounds great too now here’s my hope that green goblin is voiced by Steve Blum
7:42 I love Matt Lanter as Venom from Ultimate Spiderman.
Ich hasse die englische Stimme von venom
The fact that the Ultimate Spider-Man says I instead of We like Tofu Grapes' version of Venom really annoys me.
Disney wasnt really allowed to use him in his entirety originally, so him saying I instead of We may have been due to Sony.
@@BlazenSpirit99 Idc fam it's still annoying lol
@@drxshock6957 it is, isnt it?
@@BlazenSpirit99 Very annoying
When venom said i it's not that bad. It sounds like the symbiote has control over brock
My favorite Venom Voice actors
1. Hank Azaria
2. Rod Wilson
3. Daran Norris
4. Tom Hardy
5. Ben Diskin
6. Steve Blum
I respect that you put Rod Wilson high up their
@Juan Maldonado wrong
Really? Rod Wilson?
rod wilson?
I respect Roger Craig Smith. Fun fact: He's also Sonic the hedgehog ever since 2010.
Tony Tood
Daran Norris sounds like the corrupted version of Optimus Prime, and it's epic.
Holy damn, Neil Kaplan too.
Tom Hardy, Daran Norris, Hank Azaria and Brian Drummond are the absolute best imo
Hank Azaria the actor who was Gargamel.
Tom Hardy is a definitely a winner for the best Venom/Eddie Brock actor.
Ben diskin is the best venom
@@Player-jf8fk eh no
@@Player-jf8fk nah Darren Norris is he scary and funny at the same time
Daran Norris for me. I loved his version of Venom. "Hey, where'd Spider-Wuss go? SPIDER-WUSS, come out & plaaayyyy"
SURF THE WEB!!! SURF THE WEB!!!
I like how they all have their own interpretation of the character's voice. I can't really say that I hate any of them. But PS1 Venom is my favorite
1. Steve Blum
2. Tom Hardy
3. Ben Diskin
4. Troy Baker
5. Daran Norris
Thanks for uploading this, you rock!!!!!
Any Venom that doesn't sound human and high pitched usually works for me...
He's literally a slimy, hulking monster and should sound as such
Two Star Wars actors did venom, Matt lanter and Dee Bradley Baker, amazing.
We are the best!
I really liked the Venom movie.
I really liked the Venom movie.
11:53 venom says *eyes lungs pancreas so many snacks so little time
