Man, even though I grew up in the early 2000's, it was with this movie. And this was my favorite song. I'd sing it so many times year after year, my parents started to ask me to stop. And sometimes, during random times of the year, people would tell me that I was singing or humming random parts of it. Thank you so much for making this tutorial. Guess I know what I'm doing for the next twenty-four hours.
Same!!! I absolutely loved this movie and specifically this song. I remember rewinding it over and over to listen again. I don't have a piano at my house but when I get one I'm definitely going to try and learn this.

i wouldnt call this easy more like intermediate. a lot of different chords and tempo changes. a bit mean to call it easy for all the beginners that will have to practice a lot to learn this.
Agreed, I’ve been playing for 5 years and this is one of the hardest songs I’ve done haha
I have the official sheet music (bought it from Disneyland one Halloween) and i learned this song as a child. I can confirm this the official score Danny Elfman wrote, in case there are any pianists curious of the accuracy.

this brings back memories. my dad used to have a tv rigged in his van so i could watch movies when i was little. when he would leave i would leave me in the van id put this movie on and sing along to this song on repeat
I like how they always put it "ez version" Yet they never provide the "hard" version to compare it with.
This movie is brilliant! My piano teacher hates that I don't play classical like she wants but music like this is so fun!!!

Btw, The Nightmare Before Christmas is not a Tim Burton movie, he was the producer, and he imagined the story and the characters. The director is Henri Selick ( he did Coraline too for exemple ).
