Good luck with your journey! I’ve had braces for almost 2 years and getting mine off. I had the same problem with the overbite, and can be easily corrected by minor adjustments and bands. Even tho it will be painful it’s all worth it in the end, so I wish you the best luck ✌️

getting your braces on doesn’t hurt, it’s only soar after a few hours- i suggest taking pain killers before going to the orthodontists to relieve some of the pain afterwards (if you’re old enough) 😌

I also have braces and used to be insecure about many things and my teeth were one of them! The first night I had gotten my braces I cried they burst so much and I thought everyone would hate them and I thought I looked horrible! Turns out when I came into my classroom everyone was shouting at me to see my braces! I shook my head and covered my mouth everyone was complaining and saying “let’s see” so I did for a second I smiled then shut my mouth everyone cheered for me! I was so happy and people kept telling me how good I looked in them! I am now in the 5th month of having my braces 😁! I only have them on for 9 months total, I know my teeth weren’t as bad as others but they were still really bad...,
I did smile to everyone but tried to hide my teeth as much as I possibly could! And you are right self love is VERY important so..
LOVE WHO YOU ARE! My mom used to tell me “no one will love you until you love yourself”, and she is right! Although I love every single human being in this earth! ♥️♥️♥️
