I'm 16 and I have loved Tori for so long. I wish she could get the recognition she deserves. I can't believe the 'music' that makes it onto the radio anymore. I've stopped listening to it altogether. I am so annoyed with my sister. She's one of those 'kids'. I show her real artists like Tori Kelly, H.E.R., Lauryn Hill, Jade Novah, Sinéad Harnett, JoJo, Brandy, Kiana Ledé, Asiahn, MNEK, Sam Smith, Daniel Caeser etc. but she still insists on listening to mumble rap because she thinks it 'makes her black' (FYI; she's older than me). Sorry for the rant. I needed to get that off my chest haha

On her birthday, Tori played a few of her new songs live! Already, her new song "Language" is one of my favorites. Some people have uploaded vids of her singing it (if anyone is interested). Seems Tori is showing more soul in her music! Very excited for the second album lol

YEBBA, “My Mind” please, please, please. Honestly guys, you will love her. If not as much as you love Tori, it will be very very close. She’s got riffs and runs and soul that is just as effortless as Tori, it is just in her, just like with Scott and Tori. I adore Tori, don’t mean to imply otherwise, but YEBBA (Abbey Smith) is stunningly good.

I don't know much about Tori Kelly, andI'm not much into Pop but this lassie can obviously sing more than somewhat. That section a wee bitty before the end suvggests that she could be quite at home with Jazz as well. Commercially it might be difficult for her to do. Possibly she wouldna even want try to do it, but she was playing around very impressively all over the place with her voice in a way that many Jazz singers would envy.
Wishful thinking on my part, I suppose. But then I've disliked most Pop since I was a teenager lang syne. But oh, she would set back a lot of ears if she ever did do it!
