Car boot sales have limited scope to sell on a lot of these tools. Most people are there for a day out and a wander. I’d imagine most of them are being sold online (Facebook, gumtree, eBay etc).

Only some tools get sold in African. Fact is nicked tools are easily sold all over. Honestly I have seen nicked tools before in real life from Facebook market. Its stupid to think tools get exported, but a lot of thieves aren't really professionals and usually just trying to make a quick bit of cash, so makes sense to sell on car bots or facebook.
