Amazing song and amazing animation! I'm wondering though if the music video is "canon" to the album story? In the album Syd never crash lands to a planet. Could this perhaps be a vision she is having while in Cryosleep or in The Loop?
It's whatever you want it to be :) We roughly followed the story of the album, but we had to make some modifications to fit everything into a 6-minute video. In reality, this song simply represents the part of the album where Syd realizes she will die alone, lost in the vastness of space. It might have been a bit difficult to focus solely on that.
