I prefer 16:9, few apps are just optimized for a taller 18:9 (at least for now). And when watching movie on a 18:9, you'll have a black bar surrounding the video which is annoying unless you crop into the video.
16:9 means no black bars when watching video. Any longer ratio is just stupid unless you actually use two apps on split-screen

Considering price to performance ratio of Xiaomi phones, the only reason I get this phone is just because of the pure Android stock. MIUI on the other hand for me, is kinda barbaric iterations of Android compared to other brands, which is not too far either. There's so much that I don't really need end up being useless or eating too much space, in which I can't remove at all other than disable it. That's me anyway. It's a very good phone so far IMO.

ASIS 9 lite was not suitable for me,because my main priority was gyro sensor,a dslr like camera, regular android updates,stock android..and it fulfilled all my requirements except 18:9 displays..but my job gets done!

there are many complaints about this phone after updating to Oreo 8.0. The phone is automtically shutting down and on and also rebooting itslef. Its very annoying. Do you noticed any lagging performance like this??

It amazes me the effort that Xiaomi put into making this phone look identical to the iPhone, In professional design and engineering, this the first sign of incompetence is Xeroxing someone else work, Why hire designers and engineers when you just take a set of calipers, take measurements and assemble carbon copies of another phone, But that's Xiaomi's company culture. It's copied right down to the minute details, Apple invested millions of dollars designing a iPhone, Xiaomi spent 13 dollars on a set of calipers to measure with.
All phone makers including Apple have copied a feature here and there from others, but to go to the effort of completely copying the over-all look of another phone, when theres hundred of ways to design something original is put incompetence at Xiaomi.
