Seriously! LOL There is thankfully an option to do Character Couture at the Grand Floridian. It is so fun, we have a video of it too. :)
I heard they were letting adults do it too.. I just don’t know if it’s there or somewhere else
You’re not allowed to wear costumes around the parks if you’re above a certain age so that wouldn’t work
death I know that, but you can at least rock a princess hair-do! And adults are only allowed to wear costumes during the Halloween Party and during the Christmas party as well and as well as on Dapper Day
That sucks that the cut off age is 12, the cut off age should of been at least from 13 to 16 years old.
I remember going in 2011 (I was 10) and my parents didn’t realize that the boutique required an appointment! I was so disappointed! All the fairy godmothers could do was give me some pixie dust and a crown. Thankfully my mum was and is a hair whiz, the next day I got all dressed up in my new Cinderella dress and my mom did my hair in a bun and had bought sparkles to put on my face and in my hair.
Mums are the best fairy godmothers.

I doubt you need a license to work here... I’m seeing them stick combs in the corner of the unsanitary chair so I doubt they have regulations
They’re really cool but I give them a zero on actual salon procedure 😂 I don’t see any containers for sanitizing the tools, and she stuck the tail comb in the obviously not sanitized chair

There is an experience now called character couture . It is for any age at the spas , it is so fun. Maybe try it someday 😁

lisa martinez check out the salons/spa on property! There’s 4 different resorts with the salons and we have character couture! You can choose any character (animal, villain, princess, etc.) and you can do hair nails and makeup!! It’s like adult bbb! With licensed salon stylists!

You can check out Character Couture at the salons on property. You can get style and makeup like any Disney character! Super fun!!

Darialis Pacheco there is something called character couture offered at the spas! The Grand Floridian Senses spa does it and they will do your hair and make up like a character of your choice. It’s so fun and there is not an age limit 🤣💖 we have 2 videos on our channel about it too. Merida is an awesome princess! 😁 Thanks for watching!

I’m almost 27 and i want to do this 😭😭😭
I went when I was 5 (2007, so still relatively new at the time) and I was so tired and miserable. I had red hair so I dressed up as Ariel. I look back at the pictures and they are super cute, but you can just see how tired my eyes were. Once it was done we went back to the room and I slept 😂😂 The bun stayed up for the next day and a half so that was impressive. I'm 18 now and I can remember sitting there at the Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique crystal clear!

When I went to the boutique when I was four or five... it was awesome!!! This was before they did the princess packages to make you look like the princess. I just got a bun with ALOT of glitter, a mini tiara, and a rapunzle dress

I used to go to Disney all the time with my mom when my parents were spilt... I was around 4-6 I begged every time I went to do this but she said no. I didn’t understand why she had said no all those years until I found out the prices. 😬😬

I was there and the lady that was doing my hair was yachting and pulling on my hair and it was awful
i remember, in 2012, my mom booked an appointment for me and i was too scared to get my hair done. my aunt was trying to convince me to get it done like the cousins but i just wouldn’t do it. i now regret not doing it.

They do! It’s call Character Couture and is available at the salons on property. Licensed stylists do your hair and make up with any theme. Super fun. Gigi and Brandy have done that twice now!

My little cousin did this for her birthday. She got the package where they give you the dress to go along with the hair and makeup you chose. I don’t even have kids yet and i know we are gonna do this as much as possible since i live in Orlando

Tips for Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo boutique tip
Try to ask for a costume or if they have any if not you can always bring your own costume from home
Try to get your appointment in the morning because if you do it late at night you’ll have to take a shower and ruin your beautiful work
Lastly if you can ask them if there’s a photo booth or somewhere we can take your pictures some Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo boutique will have a background or a scene you can use
And remember make an appointment because without an appointment you will sadly not be able to dress up the age limits I think are six or 4 to 12
Last puppy boutique can be pricey $200 for a person I would advise you to do if you can get your own make up palette from home which would be cheaper and get a costume that’s like 10 15 bucks and you can ask your mom to do your hair

When I Went here when I was younger o chose sleeping beauty and no joke all the pics of me from that day I look scalped except for this bun at the back of my head 😂😂 but it was the best day I ever had I loved it 💖🥰

Too all the people who want to do this but can't. Magic kingdom has a Hair salon On Main Street. So you could always ask them to do your hair and if younger then 14 wear a Outfit if you older do Disney bounding. ("If you don't know what that is you can look it up"). He ages for The Hair salon at The castle is for ages 3-12. They also have on at Disney springs (park) The grand Floridian (Resort). But if you can't pay a hundred dollars Then if you parent can have them do your hair u can also have a preffesinal do it before you go to the park.
I wonder what they would do for a boy or girl with short hair? Does anyone know? I’m really curious.
They have something called “The Prince package” That comes with a hairstyle, glitter, sword and shield. They also have hair extensions that clip in for certain styles.

Seven years ago, my aunt surprised my sister, my cousin and i with a trip to Disney world. Me and my cousin were too old for this program but my little sister wasn't. Unfortunately the day before our trip to Disney my sister was admitted into the hospital unable to go on the trip. Makes me wonder how different the trip would have been if she was there.

Kimberly to be fair I’ve tried to become a fairy godmother in training and you don’t have to have any certifications or a license. So mostly all newbies or untrained.
All I kept saying to myself is "I hope they don't reuse the combs and makeup"
They send those home with you.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but how much does this cost?
The cost varies from around $50 for just hair and nails to $250+ including a dress, accessories, etc.
Our recommendation is do the basic package and Disney Bound as your favorite character.

Disney should have installed a teenage 13-17 version of this like they do on their cruises with the Vibe

Sophia Equestrian My understanding is that 12 is the oldest you can be. 😢 But there is character couture that you can do at the Senses Spa at the grand Floridian resort at Disney World. We did a video on it too. We loved it! 😆
