What are Livelihoods?

Sustainable livelihoods increase the resilience of the people and communities, reducing their vulnerability to disasters, food insecurity and poverty while contributing to their empowerment, personal dignity. This is where the focus of the Livelihoods Resource Centre of the IFRC work lies, as this short video explains.
