My grandfather rewound motors . When a plant or factory burnt a motor he would take it back to his shot and tear it down . He set for hours rewinding them . Made them better than new . Sad but we don’t have people like that anymore . We are a society of take it off throw it away and go buy another . My grandfather rewound some motors 50 plus years ago and they are still alive and well today .

For such a thorough remanufacture of the radiator within 2 hours the owner has his vehicle back on the road, earning income and meeting his customers needs!
Even if a new replacement radiator could be received within 24 hours, that still cannot compete with this 2 hour turnaround!
Excellent work, however, the guy working with lead solder should not be inhaling the extremely poisonous fumes!

In this case the water is the only coolant, unless they added some later? I presume you meant antifreeze with a corrosion inhibitor which will help keep the internal water jacket of the engine and cylinder head clear of rust deposits and thus prevent a reduction of water flow and capacity in the future.

  • @3DPeter

I see that they use only water, and that will cause the engine to rust and that rust will build up layers in the radiator and then the entire engine will overheat.
Now i can imagine that coolant fluid are to expensive for them, so a good alternative would be cutting oil for laiths and cnc machines, because that can be mixed
with water and prevents metals from rusting.
