My only concern about these small cameras is being careful about where and what you record. It’s tempting to record in locations where people might not want you recording ( like stores or restaurants ) even though the camera is small and not as easy to spot. Cell phones are more common or normal to see. Smaller recording devices can look a little creepy or suspicious. Just some thoughts. I still like the camera.
I'm still getting by with my Go2....waiting for the Go4 before upgrading
I am looking forward to my 6 year old and the hotel pool (you know the cost) and yes, I will be wearing the camera when I proposed. BUT!!!! I wanted to watch this to answer a question and you well... You never judge how useful the hat footage was. You show lots of videos of you wearing the camera on your hat but you never said, "Gosh, this is great or I wish blah blah." <-- said as a friend. And.... No on has ever answered the question -- does the Go 3 float. I will answer that question this weekend :-) in a pool not in the ocean.
Hello amd thanks for your review - is the footage able to "airdrop" directly into a macbook or does it have to go into the insta360 app first on the phone?
Are you ablet to use 50-60fps on a lower res or are you stuck at 30 fps throughout?
if they turn the box into a wireless mic you can attach to you to record high quality audio like rode ones would be awesome
Hang on, you can connect your Go 3 directly to your iPad and offload footage that way? Is this only via USBC to USBC, the insta360 app supports this? I had no idea if so!
How about night shot? Is it any good for low light exposure?
But is there a big difference between 2.7k and 1440p or not?

Great material! Tell me, what program do you use to overlay GPS data such as speed or route on a Go3 video in such a way?
I'm getting mine soon, it won't take over my Ace Pro or DJI A4 but that's not what it's intended to do. The portability has applications the other cameras cannot do, I see this as a great addition to my travel gear bag. Great video as usual!
Wow, my generic GoPro knock off has more options than that thing! However, the quality is not great and it's shaky as all can be.

And can you put the level of stabilization on free frame or is it already in the set so you can't customize it?
Do you know if the timestamp issue is resolved?
One thing I find really annoying with the GO3 (that I otherwise love!) is the bug of synchronization between sound and image in freeframe video mode. It makes the GO3 unusable for vlogging in this mode if you are filming yourself speaking.
I don’t understand how are you burning through your mobile date transferring files over WiFi, also pretty sure that if you can download it over usb c to your iPad then you can do the same with new iPhones.
