Kratos has been through so much can the guy catch a break.
Great reaction you guys!!!!! Keep it up!!
If you guys want to check out the soundtrack, here are some good ones to react to if you want. God of War:Ragnarok main theme, valkyrie (God of War 2018), hammer of thor, vanaheim theme, svartalfheim theme, A new path (atreus theme)
i honestly without any doubt would rather suffer everything he has, than suffer what i have. would you understand that every delusion and hallucination ive ever faced as a schizophrenic is my reality? every worst nightmare has become true, now as i speak to you, i have no food no money, in isolation this comment is the most interaction i get with people, a privilege . love is all that i care about. i love you family, ive had no parents, an orphan, so my family is humanity.
Just to clear it up, Odin was joking when he said Atreus wasn’t Kratos’s son. He was saying that Atreus is kind and smart and Kratos is not. Kratos is definitely Atreus’s dad.
Brruuhhh… I’ve been pondering this the whole time. I mean, Zeus is the type of God to secretly impregnate your wife and have you raise the child. We still aren’t too sure of what Odin is capable of.
@@TNTGamingonline Originally Odin wasn't really like Zeus, and neither is he in the games, very different cultures and outlooks. Plus, he did say "I kid" in that same sentence too
@@TNTGamingonlineyall really believed Odin lol that's funny
@@TNTGamingonlineYeah, he basically Said: "He is so kind and so smart, are you sure he is yours".
It was Just a jab at Kratos, nothing more.
@@TNTGamingonline Also remember that Atreus used (or at least attempted to use) Spartan Rage in the previous game. If that isn't proof of who his dad is I don't know what is.
Just the fact that Atreus has access to Spartan Rage is the undeniable proof that Kratos is his father
More like Shape-Shifting Rage.
@@Batman-ps4omAtreus almost accessed non shape-shifting spartan rage in 2018
@@marlo176 I know
Odin gotta be the greatest gaslighter of all time
Brok is actually only missing 1/4 of his soul and the part he's missing is direction
Right after Odin said "Are you sure he's yours?", he said "I kid."
He was just making a jab at Kratos and Atreus being so different personality-wise.
Zeus would say something like that but be serious.
Odin is so good at gaslighting, he has the audience believing his lies.
I’m pretty sure Faye is in pain because she just gave birth to Atreus, I mean. That’s extremely common lol
I love how kratos is just straight up with Odin whenever they talk, from the moment they met at the house
9:06 he’s saying that Atreus’ is nothing like kratos
by the way, Nimue is the Lady of the Lake from King Arthur and Excalibur legend. Mimir has the best stories
That is too cool
@@TNTGamingonlineoh look out for his personal stories alot of them are Shakespeare or other English legends. In fact do a little digging and you can probably figure out who he is.😁 Enjoy.
He definitely does have the best stories. Like Mimir of the Bifröst Teats. 🤣
21:42 Ironically Kratos' answer kinda works for Brok's riddle. "Nothing" gets bigger the more you take away nothing. Its not the right answer but its true.😂
No, by taking away nothing from nothing then it remains it’s original size. Also since there is an answer to the riddle, “nothing” is removed from the set of possible answers to the riddle.
@@bushidobrown6742 Did you not read all of what I said? 😂I said its not the right answer. That would imply that there is a right answer and "nothing" would not be it. I was just saying that "nothing" kinda works too if you think about it. Nothing would get bigger because you didn't take away anything. Its like a play on words. It remains its original size because "nothing" got bigger.
@dylanhopkins5934 nah you're just dumb af this doesn't make sense in the least
16:37 the Nimue, Mimir speaks about is the Lady of the Lake from Arthurian Legends! This dialogue is the proof that Mimir is from old English/Celtic Myths!
Ok so i saw you both looking confused about Kratos Punching that wall and then Atreus saying that it is to build focus. You both know that kratos is strong. Infact capslock STRONG. He can easily bring that entire house down with a single punch without even breaking out sweat. And that's what he is trying to control. He is punching hard but pulling like 99.5% of his strength so that the entire house isn't brought to ruins. And holding back that much requires absolute focus. That's what kratos is doing. He is building his focus. Hope this clears things up
Fun fact: the theme for Svartelfheim (Dwarven Realm) is reused, and slightly changed to make the Brok and Sindri theme song. The same is done 1 additional time later on, with the same 2 songs.
we are not our failures, we are not who we were, we must be better. Lines Kratos carries with him. Same lines he used when killing baldur
The funny thing about Odin's Lil speech. When he asked if Kratos knew what it felt like to be worshipped. In the second PSP God of War game, as well as God of War 2, the Spatans worshipped him. Even tore down Ares statue to honor him.
He was reveared as a great warrior, but not really loved or worshipped. Kratos was seen as a merciless killing machine by his followers, an ideal to the Spartan conquesting ways, but nothing more than that. He was never really 'loved' in a way other gods were, the same is true of Ares, like Kratos mentioned in a previous episode, gods of war are reveared differently in his land
@@lewd2851 actually no. He was loved by the Spartans because he himself was a Spartan. In the second psp game, he visited Sparta and was loved and praised . In GoW2 again, cheered. Even one brave Spartan took it upon himself to avenge him.
@@dirtandsilkk Not the same thing, Spartan culture was all about battle. "Our lives were battle, discipline, duty, and death. Life was grim and we greeted it grimly". Kratos was worshipped as an ideal of the spartan way of life, but not *loved* in the way Tyr was, its why Odin says 'truly' when asking him if he was worshipped
@@dirtandsilkkfacts and in ghost of Sparta the people of Sparta worshipped him too, some of these people only played 2018 god of war and watched cutscenes for the other games instead of play them
So it’s time again guys… get ya some snacks and enjoy the video❤
Factss FINALLY!!!
Odin was joking about atreus not being kratos his son. Remember the scene when modi attacked kratos? Atreus used spartan rage. Definitely kratos his son. He also inherited some of zeus his abilities like turning into animals.
The guy who did the music is actually a character in game Raeb the dwarf
Bear McCreary composed the music and Bear spelled backwards is Raeb
Bear McCreary, the composer for the game is a character in Nidavellir. (Home of the dwarves)
It's Raeb
Oh Faye was as equally badass as Kratos if not more xD
FROM THE FIRST GAME THEY TOLD US THAT FAYE WAS A GIANT. SHE WAS THE ONE BALDUR CAME LOOKING FOR ORIGINALLY
Hey Tee, Hey Tasha, first time commenting here. Love your God of War reactions, that's what got onto you guys. Just wanted to say Odin was joking when he said, "are you sure he's yours?" which is followed by "I kid" because he was commenting on how different Atreus' personality is to Kratos'. Love the content guys, keep it up.
Hahahahaha I hope he was. That would be a terrible plot twist, lol
Brock does have a soul. It's just incomplete. A piece is missing. That Satchel/bag he looks at is what he used to Carry his wife's Ashes
Brok has a soul just not a complete soul
Odin was joking about atreus not being kratos' son
Atraus is kratos son. Odin was messing with kratos. Basically saying he's nothing like kratos and thats suspicious but he's messing with him.
If you notice Oden says he does not know the love of mortals that have prayed to him, you know he had to remember Zuse killing all the Spartians with the blade of olympus, then corrupted the last spartan so that Kratos literally killed his last loyal follower.
Skolir is basically Link from Zelda if he were allowed to talk.
For some context here in case you don't know at 16:29. The Nimue that Mimir was talking about is actually The Lady of the Lake. The very same one that made Excalibur for King Arthur.
Fun fact the lake nymph mimir mentioned in the boat at 16:40 is the lady of the lake that gives King Arthur Excalibur
The dreams Kratos has have always seemed off. It Feels like Faye is pushing Kratos towards fulfilling the Ragnarok prophecy
I think she’s using Kratos.
It's more like she's the one who set Kratos on his character arc. Her only desire was for Kratos to become a better person and for him to protect Atreus, and Atreus was the one hellbent on fulfilling the prophecy.
Because that’s the only way for her son and kratos to live. Remember she saw the whole journey before it happened and knew exactly what was going to happen. Even if she is pushing them to ragnarok it’s because she knows kratos and Loki are destined to defeat Odin. I think it feels off because in the dreams she has a spiritual and mysterious vibe
@@TNTGamingonline not sure where that comes from
there not Dreams though just memories
I remember once upon a time when yall were so distrusting of Brok and Sindry now look at yall😂 PTSD slowly wearing off lol. Remember Durlin the dwarf told them that Faye was a resistance leader back when she had the axe and Kratos never knew. The reason they went with this Odin over the all powerful cruel Odin is because they wanted it to be more connectable and believable when he basically seducing Atreus to his side by using teenager rebellion and curiosity to find out his own truth. It would have seemed forced if his character wsnt line this
Hahahahaha… Brok an Sindri have proven themselves. They are really charming and we look forward to their interactions with Kratos and Atreus.
About time guys. Been waiting 👍👍👍👍
atraeus has to be kratos's son. since in the first game, atraeus used spartan rage
Freya said “what is this” at raven tree sounded just like her son baulder when he said it when that missle toe hit his hand
The answer to Brokk's riddle will be revealed near the end of the game... not gonna spoil anything but ya'll gonna be surprised.
I love how you guys keep saying he have no soul (Brok)
The guy literally have 3/4 of his soul, he is just missing a 1/4.
The three part he have: form, mind, luck.
The one that he is missing: direction.
Without the direction part, his soul would be lost when he and if he ever dies. So he is basically screwed in the afterlife thanks to Sindri.
Mimir makes reference to Nimue while they were traveling on boat, i believe that's the name of the Lady in the Lake from king Arthur mythology
Note also how mimir was referred to as Puck by the Norns, a fae trickster in Celtic mythology
27:10 notice how kratos drops the blades of chaos as he doesn't care for them and hates them , and look how he treats the axes cuz its a gift from his dead wife
The sack he is holding was the sack used to carry fayes ashes.
Mimir was just talking about Nimue the lady of the lake who created Excalibur for King Arthur
10:10 S**t got really real after Odin called Kratos monster.
It cannot be overstated enough how much of an impact Brok's quote had on Kratos, which makes me even more pissed that it was very weirdly cut out from the previous episode in this vid yall are watching.
"The nature of a thing is more important than the form of a thing", Kratos repeats it about himself as well in this episode, and i think it's one of the main driving points of his character development in this game.
Its interesting to hear yalls perspective on Faye, the game doesn't give us much on her and when it does its in snippets as you've noticed, so even people who've seen everything of this game form different opinions on her. I disagree personally that shes using Kratos, i think she genuinely loves and cares for him, but there is a question that has to be asked about her: As a giant she can see the future, and as someone who can do that, how much of what she does and the ways in which she guides Kratos is with the intent to protect them and how much is it with the intent to see her own personal goal of seeing the Asgardian gods defeated?
Also yeah, Odin and Zeus are very different people. Granted Zeus was never a great person, but he was way more low key before he got corrupted by Fear released from Pandoras Box by Kratos, at which point he went insane. Odin is a behind the scenes kind of guy, very maniuplative and humanizing, but he does let slip his real intentions and emotions from time to time, when he talked to Kratos about godhood and when he spoke about wanting to know what comes next for him after death to Atreus are examples, you can really hear the desparation in his voice.
The answer to that riddle is A HOLE...a hole gets bigger the more you take out of it
Before Kratos goes to sleep you can see the complete disregard he has for the Blades of Chaos with him just dropping them on the floor.
He places Faye's axe down. But he just drops the blades. It means so much.
Naw it wasn't nervousness. Don't get me wrong Kratos HIM, but Odin wants ALL the SMMOOOOOKKKKEEEEEE!!!
Love the way Kratos keeps that spear pointed at Odin's head.
Tbh i think all the singing you hear when Kratos thinks about Fey is Fey actually singing right before you see her or something happens
Guys, you can go back in the video 5 seconds if you press the back arrow on your keyboard, instead of having to find where you were with the mouse. Please like this comment so they could see it
Thank you for this
The story behind Odis’s ravens is messed up…. And “messed up” is truly putting it lightly 🙃
So just an to let you guys know the one dwarf that called Mimir and extra head is the one who did the soundtrack for both Gow 2018 and Ragnarok Bear McCreary
Glad to see ya back
12:09 Odin was just trying to insenuate that the fact that Atreus is bright nad kind, and Kratos seems not. It’s a psych tactic, that’s it i think.
I thought it was a dumb thing for Odin to say that if Kratos has ever been worshipped of prayed to in his many lifetimes when he has in the past. The Spartans definitely prayed to him and worshipped him........before Zeus destroyed them......
A hole the answer to the riddle is a hole
The soundtrack won that year for the game awards
I didn't know Mimir knew Nimue, the lady of the lake, is Excalibur real in GoW universe?
The transition🔥😵💫
"I want peace as much as you do" and he stands behind 2 spears
No wonder Mimir said he's lying
The music in this game just gets better and better. Just wait until the climax of the plot. There's a scene that gave me goosebumps like seeing the Endgame portal scene as a huge marvel fan for the first time did haha
I need longer episodes man
So some stuff you guys might be a little misinformed off is that Kratos and Mimir didnt know Brok was missing some of his soul cuz Sindri told that story to Atreus not them. And Brok isnt soul-less, he's missing 1/4th of it
That little Blue dude sounds more like a Pirate, than of a Dwarf!!! "Haaarrr me matey!" 😆
Referring to the soundtrack... Just so you know Raeb the dwarven inkeep... He is the composer of the soundtrack his name is Bear McCreary... His name is am anagram of his first name... He also done the sountrack for The Rings of Power
YESSS MORE GOW!!!
Man i understand how Odin feels i also want the answers...why are we here? how/when did we get here? who/what created us? i guess sadly we'll never know until we die.
read the quran
Odin is definitely power hungry, you have to remember Odin is a master manipulator. He isn't just going to tell you his plans or even hint about it. Even when telling the truth, it won't be the full truth.
As Mimir said "if Odin says that snow is white, he's lying."
4:45 Keep that riddle in ya head because it actually comes in play, thats all I'm gonna say.
That whole conversation with Kratos and Odin was interesting because its these are two gods that can literally do anything, and i couldn't help but agree with Odin because Kratos never tried to understand what atreus was trying to do, he chased his own son away because he felt like he didn't understand him anymore.
The challenges in Muspelheim really helped you out when it came to money, equipment, and other stuff.
27:08 the whole sequence was done beautifully with Kratos putting the blades and the axe down, you can still see the scar on his stomach from his fights in Greece, and in his dream i get it he doesn't want Atreus to know all of the atrocities that he's done in the past, but here at 34:33 I truly love the confidence she has in Kratos, but i have a problem because, you want him to do the "One thing" he destroyed with his own bare hands even though he was tricked and the transition of Kratos hitting the wall to atreus was crazy.
I feel so bad for Thor everytime I see these videos, imagine your father telling you, “I liked you better as a drunk.” That cuts deep.
The left arrow on your keyboard skips back 10 seconds & the right skips ahead 10.
@TnTGamingonline think of this way to know who she is, A) Kratos has her axe, and B) she survived fighting god-killing kratos lol
34:10 It might have been. You'll learn more later on, but remember she said we are not far from the place where your father and I first met, we nearly took off each other's head. She was a rageful, bloodthirsty person/giant nearly as bad as Kratos. She is a bad bitch.
DLC content for this game will be announced at the end of the year. Has to be Atreus quest, to maybe set up the Egyptian pantheon as most rumors the past year is all pointing to them being next.
Not sure how they are going to make their way to Egypt when it doesn’t line up chronology . By this time in Gow universe the Egyptian pantheon would’ve been long gone.
@@TNTGamingonline maybe time travel BS.
Wait till u learn her secret past. Where he succeeded, she failed.
In the side quest you learn about faye s past and how the axe was forged to fight thor she was secret warrior for a rebel army and fought thor in the past so maybe she was hiding like freya in midgard Hines the protection trees around their home
It's not that he has no soul he doesn't have all of his soul
Rumor is that the green rift is suppose to be where Athena is at. 🤔
Kratos's scar in his abdomen is where Zues Stabs him in GOW 3
Yup. We did a reaction to the whole series
the perfect answer to the answer is brok's rddle is "well"
34:01 oh nah Faye's got her story. She's done some stuff. Without spoiling I'll just say she was a perfect match for Kratos 😆
Need next episode like now
he was kidding regarding atreus not being kratos' son
Odin is from the good doctor series, the voice the face is same
If you like the music, you should watch the ragnarok behnd the scenes videos after the playthrough! There is one focused on the music where the composer explains the major themes of the game, very insightful!
Remember that she's a giant and can use giant magic. And she use the frost axe before.. and give it to kratos before she died. She was a strong warrior
Odin wasting nervous not scared of Kratos Norse gods don’t dodge smoke Odin wanted war if it came down to it odin literally pulled up to his house in the beginning of the game mans is a menace lmao

What version are u watching??
Really bizarre they included side quests and general video game fluff in it like durlins hammer and the crucible.
Faye is a badass. It is shown in a side quest. If that is not shown just think about the fact that she matched younger Kratos in battle.
What makes you think faye matches younger kratos ? We didn't have that much of information about faye's life let alone achievement. While kratos we have been following him since gow 1.Using the fact that faye was able to fight on equal footing with thor doesn't make faye on par with younger kratos. I doubt faye alone could ever defeat all greek pantheons. I take it you only play gow 2018 and ragnarok
@@azureoverlord9346 in the dream flashback after kratos gets the draupnir he says "I am tired" (I remember that vividly as I have never heard him so defeated). On the boat she is saying to baby atreus "we are not far from where we(her and kratos) first met..... we almost took each others heads off". The very fact she is alive and well just testifies her abilities compared to kratos as to even get kratos (the younger kratos fresh out of Greece in a completely new surrounding obviously on edge) to stop attacking and even listen to reason is impressive. Think about that fact in it self.
@@azureoverlord9346 I may have not played (I don't have ps bro) the last 6 games but I have seen entire playthroughs for the games. Ik some stuff. I am proud to say tho that I got to press the l3 r3 on posiden for my elder bro. Still a cherished memory.
@@karanbais1843 I remember that scene clearly. But it doesn't make sense to me. If faye can kill kratos, does that mean she could single handedly kill all the greek pantheons and the titans ? At the end of gow3 it shows kratos stabbed himself with the blade of olympus and then he disappeared. It's safe to assume after arriving in the norse lands kratos snapped out of his killing spree after he has achieved avenging on all the pantheons. He was left with an emptiness. He lost sense of direction and the reason to fight. Anyway, it's not my point to say faye was a weak warrior. But the idea of her capable of defeating kratos who took out all the pantheons and the titans single handedly is implausible to me. We haven't learned much about faye and to what extent her abilities were. I also don't think she could kill thor by herself. If she had the potential to defeat thor that makes her the strongest giant in the history of norse. She would be the only non-aesir god to be at the same level as the aesir god
@@azureoverlord9346 i do see your point that he is not on a killing spree anymore so he may not have pushed himself to the edge against Faye. But I have not ever seen him hold back against any opponents ever so it is a bit harder for me to comprehend.
How can you think Faye is using kratos, she just never told him the complete truth. She was hiding her past like kratos but I think its for them because kratos and atreus will never have gone on this journey and bonded which she foresaw
