A:it is because in recording you can redo a part,not like in live you can't redo a part.

Besides playing an instrument and singing, the verses are sung in a low key and by the time the chorus kicks in (overlapping the verse) he switches to a higher note!
In a studio - where you can do retakes this is easier done! Live?? Humanly impossible - with no back up vocals!
Besides that it's the opening song - high energy and his vocals go from zero to low notes to high notes faster than you haters can hit the dislike b

Patrick sounds weird here cuz he was going through some lame dynamic voice phase but he hadnt gotten good at it lol. If you want old or more recent stuff hes so much better, Also, this song was heavily layered in recording (thanks to the record label trying to make them into a boyband at the time and trying to pull a 1D) and so patrick is singing the uncommon octave instead of the most appealing which is more prominently heard from the album version.

Prolly gonna get flamed for this but their like dragonforce. Dragonforce on CD and on record is amazing, the songs are amazing. Watch a live video of through the fire and flames... the solos are like the vocals on this song, atleast on the video I saw. These guys are good writers, their good on record, but the vocals live aren't the best... And don't tell me to sing, I'm more of a guitar guy.
And btw I do like alot of FOB's music, the record version atleast

lmao. you think he's the only person in the world who is tasked to energize, play, and sing at the same time? His voice is only good because they enhance the shit out of it in the studio. Look at the classic rock bands with kick ass singers. Did Paul and John complain about playing live? no. There are no excuses. This is not a high school talent show, they are a professional band who is only famous for the work of their studio and editors.
