When we were making Aliyah, we sold our house, but things were taking a long time to be settled. The estate agent came and said she wanted to show us something before we finally decide to come to Israel. She showed us this beautiful house with a huge garden, and a swimming pool, double-storey - just beautiful. On the way back in the car I started talking to HaShem: "HaShem, I don't know what you want from me now - if you want us to stay in South Africa or go to Israel. Please tell me what you want. " We arrive home and as we open the front door the phone is ringing. I pick it up, and it is the Aliyah organization, telling us that our place in Israel is booked - and can we please come and get our tickets....
Listening to this class was the best way to start this week of Chanukah beginning. Thank you.

CZcams blocked the channel again last week after the Zohar class was loaded, 3 hours later it was removed and channel blocked. Luckily the block from posting was removed yesterday

The entire lecture was just audio of the class with a black screen. Satan tried first to damage video file but Rabbi Anava always records his classes also in audio separately.
So from the entire lecture which is with a black screen there was 1 minute of video footage of palestinians pretending to be dead (on the 35:45 mark) and apparently that violated youtube's policy of revealing the truth. Video was removed. account blocked for a week and another penalty to the channel

I was stuck in an elevator with some other girls on elementary school graduation 🎓 trip to Washington DC. What happened was that buttons were pressed inside and outside and seemed to jam the system and the door was still open about an inch or so. Baruch Hashem still had a bit of air. I know it was all from Hashem!!
I remember the teacher 👩🏫 looking through the crack at us and I took a picture 📷and you just see a bit of her face. The fire 🧑🚒department came and went above us to open up through the ceiling, but then Baruch Hashem the elevator doors opened.

It's good to hear your voice of reasoning and structure. It didn't happen to me. Never the less it is very disturbing. Even after 2 months it is a reality that we are living in this time, the most wicked time in history. My most important prayer is that I don't let Hashem down, and accomplish what I was sent to do. I pray everyone remembers this for themselves. What we learn from the Rabbi's is very important. Adonai is sending the jewish people back to the Land, but he is also sending Torah out to the world. I'm glad Alon Anava is here teaching us.

Rabbi a few years ago I heard your story regarding the Taxi on 8th Avenue and how you your body was flickering. In your story you stated many things that used FEAR and only FEAR as the reason you must dedicate your life to the Torah.
I admit at first I allowed myself to fall for the fear. Mind you I respect you because it appears you are a good man.
That said there was still something wrong and though the fear rattled me I calmed myself.
Now as a child growing up in New York South Shore Long Island I did what my parents told me to do. I went to Hebrew School first which looking back was a disgrace. I was not taught ONE thing about my Ancestry. My mother's parents were both Greek Romaniote Jews from Ioannina. They emigrated to New York in 1921.
My father's family I never got clear understanding from but they were Eastern European and Russian I believe and came to the US with nothing.
What possible reason is there to practice something no one believed? How could I believe when my teachers did not seem to. Only my Romaniote Grandmother seemed to have the beauty of a Strong mind. Her husband passed before I was 2 yo.
Parents divorced and money money money. I had trouble after trouble until 1980 at 24 I returned to NY and a $3 an hour job. Met my future wife a Puerto Rican who wore a Jewish Star.
She is my Angel and is in my heart as her body died in 2013. I had 30 years with her with the last nine years she was bed bound and the Allopathic MadMen literally used her like a pin cushion as they still do today.
If not for our Love she would have died 9 years earlier as everything was call 911. After three visits to HELLospitals all in New York City the nonsense called best the fourth attempt came.
She could not talk on morning. Visiting nurse. Blood test. LOW SODIUM it showed CALL 911. Huh?
I told the Doctor (phone though he made house calls) she will die before going to those madmen again. Her illness they named a type of Muscular Dystrophy so no tests were needed any more.
I told him she would rather die but isn't SALT mostly Sodium. Why not give her Salt.
No no he said. OK. If you will not tell me how much I will have to guess.
He suggested 1/2 teaspoon every two hours.
Gave it all night every two hours, very simple. By morning she was speaking normally. The next day the clowns came and took blood and no more low sodium.
For the next nine years I managed her care at home with Zero Help from Medicare or the Garbage Add on Insurance. Oh WHY. Incurable diseases are not covered. Nice huh.
If MEDICAID full coverage but I worked 16 hours a day so I could pay over $900 per week for help.
She is a beautiful soul and is here in my heart always. So why do I write this?

My ex husband left me pregnant with two toddlers.. it was very scary, but God took me one step at a time.. and now 8 years later I’m the happiest I have ever been.. closest to God, my kids are the best that has happened to me.. of course it is not easy, but Hashem is taking care of us❤

I do stay home for the most part. Every time I go out, something bad happens. I have been living a life of tshuvah & high on Hashem studying Torah, Midrash, Rashi, etc etc daily for several years (convert but not via Rabbinical Orthodox means as it is not available to me.) when 3 months ago I was seriously injured in a slip & fall accident severely breaking my hand, elbow & shoulder but worse leaving me w/condition called CRPS (incurable, horrendous pain). I have begged Hashem for the entirety of this time to show me why. I’ve searched my life, mind & soul. My relationship w/Him was so great daily, but now it feels shattered. Wonderful!! Something I do not understand is about free will. Does it just change the direction, but ends the same way?? The people who all died in the war or 9-11. They had no control when it happened. Would all of those people died anyway at that same time?? So many questions, Maybe we need not question and know Hashem has control and his reasons.
