- Welcome, in this video I'll show you how to make Jeffy out of paper.
Hi there, I'm Ben Stanley and I love working with paper, it's a brilliant material - flexible, strong and easily accessible to create with.
Full disclosure - parts of this Jeffy paper puppet are fiddly to make. There should be enough info in the video for those of you who like a challenge, to give it a go. As you will see I have speeded up the process, so if you plan to give it a go, slowing the video speed down should help.

Template & Material Breakdown:
I recommend using sugar paper for the beige sections and 120-200gsm thickness paper in the relevant colour for the rest, but standard printer paper (80gsm) should still work.
- Page 1 - Introduction (no need to print)
- Page 2 - Jaw and top of head strip (beige paper)
- Page 3 - Face and eyelids (beige paper)
- Page 4 - Ears and back of neck (beige paper)
- Page 5 - Socks, teeth, finger loops and arm to sleeve attachments (white paper)
- Page 6 - T-shirt (yellow paper)
- Page 7 - Arms (beige paper)
- Page 8 - Sleeves, and top and bottom t-shirt strips (yellow paper)
- Page 9 - Leg (beige paper)
- Page 10 - Leg (beige paper)
- Page 11 - Shorts (dark blue paper)
- Page 12 - Nappy (white paper)
- Page 13 - Shoes (white paper)
- Page 14 - Helmet (light blue paper)
Additionally you will need:
- Scissors, craft knife and cutting board
- A ruler
- A paper scorer (an empty ballpoint pen or scissors can also be used)
- Stick glue
- Two 3cm diameter polystyrene balls
- Black, light blue, dark blue and beige maker pens
- Yellow pencil with red eraser tip
- Access to a colour printer

I recommend using the video settings to slow it down to quarter speed if you are trying to make it, hopefully that should help. The build will take quite a few hours
