My wife and I adore Destino Tower. It’s like home. We stay club level. The cast members in that lounge and that lounge are the best on property!
We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Coronado Springs. I never want to stay anywhere else! Well, that's not true, I'd love a stay at Animal Kingdom or Wilderness Lodge, but no other value or moderates.
My husband and I love Gran Destino Tower. We have stayed there several times. Our room has been in the same general area as yours, every time we have stayed. We love to watch the Epcot fireworks from our room at night.

Deni, I was very pleased to see your room came with a large safe so you could store your "traveling jewels" safely. As I only have little leg's I had to let you do the mile walk around the property by yourself. Un gentlemanly I know. But at least I was able to be back in time for breakfast. It is a wonderful resort! My only issue with it is if you prioritize transport to the parks, it's not the absolute best choice because it lacks options. But the rooms are beautiful and the grand destino lobby is elegant. My only advice is when bringing small children into the lobby I have witnessed little ones running fast and slamming into the glass that hovers the balcony area from the entrance of the main building. I think it's a wonderful resort for adults. There is no close pool if you stay in the main tower either. But a great adult birthday weekend stay for sure! Thank you Deni!!!
We did a split stay in May at gran Destino and the Riviera. Even though I loved our balcony and view of Epcot and the fireworks at riviera, I actually preferred our room as a whole at gran destino! Felt so much bigger, the bathroom was better, and just everything felt newer and cleaner and fresher than Riviera. That along with all of the food options and just how beautiful the tower and Coronado grounds are, and for a moderate price, it is definitely my favorite resort right now! 🥰
Disney All Star Movies, haha only kidding, it’s the only resort I have had the chance to stay at so far, but would love to experience Coronado Springs!!

Coronado Springs is THE best. I've been lucky enough to stay in the Gran Destino Tower twice so far and agree that it is the most relaxing, beautiful space. Food and drink options are awesome. One thing you didn't mention that I absolutely love here is all of the beautiful succulent arrangements in the lobby and common areas - it's all in the details! I know folks have issues with the transportation options, but in my experience with this resort, Disney does a great job to keep those buses running and it has never been a problem to navigate where you need to go.
CSR is my go to moderate resort. I've not stayed in the tower and probably never will. I'll be honest, for the price of the tower, I can often find a room at the Dolphin. Being able to walk to two parks wins for me. I do love the Casitas and Cabanas though and have stayed in those a number of times. I've yet to stay in the Ranchos but figure eventually they will put me there. I think the whole resort is beautiful and 3 Bridges is a not so hidden gem. BTW, I was there in Dec. last year and got that green t-shirt you showed. It is so soft and one of favorites.

Happy Birthday Deni! My second favorite resort after AKL. Though I must be one of the few people that prefers to stay in the old rooms than the tower. I love the vibe of the old rooms. The tower makes me feel like I'm in Vegas (though I love Vegas too)!
The chocolate cigar was heavenly. So delicious!

This is such a beautiful resort even if I think the exterior of Gran Destino looks like a casino. 😂 Loved your tour. Most only show the tower and not the outer buildings that are even more themed. Looking forward to your Maya Grill review.

Hi Deni & Brian!! Hope your birthday was so very happy!! Hubby and I stayed at Gran Destino Tower last year for a Valentine's Day staycation. While the room was very well appointed, the rest of the resort was not our vibe. I also attended a convention at Coronado over 20 years ago and was not a fan of the resort back then.
Ate at Maya Grill recently and it was just ok.
Coronado Springs was the first Disney resort I stayed at years ago. It was beautiful then but looks even more amazing now!! Great video! Happy Birthday!! Which resort is your favorite? Currently, I love Port Orleans Riverside

Looks to be a nice amount of space under the bed. But ... can Ryno Clavin fit underneath?
I'm a little disappointed that the sofa was showing so much wear.
Although I didn't know why I care as we are DVC so there is no chance of us staying there.
