I'm so excited for you!!!!! I'm so proud of you for just going for it, no matter what. Even if you're just going to an audition just to go. You're handling you professional career path so well- you're really taking control and ownership of your future and the opportunities you go after, which really seems to be key in the musical theater world. Also, I love that we can always hear you smile and hear your character's personality through your voice. You're really incredibly talented- you know you have that talent. Now it's just figuring out how to hone that skill and getting yourself out there. Good luck on the call back!!!! Disney is very fortunate to have you!

You have some really wonderful advice gems in here, Jess. Remove yourself from stress and energy. Audition attire can be whatever you want to be. Nourish yourself. Belting along to a cast album is not the same as a proper vocal warmup. I love your energy and hope to see you perform in Florida sometime. Keep living your dream!

Congrats on your callback!!! I have a question-if you’re already performing in a show at Disney why are you auditioning for another one? What happens if you were to also get this job while still being in the other one?
Think of it as cross-training! The more you can get cross-trained the more opportunities you have to work 😊
Lots of people I know who perform at Disney work more than one show...

So for the auditions they say 16 measures.. are they strict on that like what if I do 20? Pleaseee answer I have an audition coming up and never been to a Disney one!

Curious! So you got into Disney not too long ago and are currently working two jobs! So what are you still auditioning for? Other jobs or musicals or? Or is it common for peeps to come and go through the parks and get a different job a few months later? Or come and go for productions? I really have no idea how that works! Haha. I work a normal non theatre job and only audition for community theatre shows, nothing else. XD

What kinds of shows are they? Are they in the parks or are they something else. And how do you find out about audition calls?
when you get hired as a performer somewhere do you quit or leave your other full or part time job or do you just adjust your scheduling to do both? i know it’s depending on if the performing job is near your other job not if it’s a regional theatre type thing

It’s just a basic Keurig as far as I know!
Jess Medley thank you, I’ve never seen one like that before (I’m from the UK😊) and I love my coffee but I’m the only one in my house that drinks it, having a coffee machine like that would be great so I’m now on the hunt for one 😄 x
So I have to ask. What would be your #1 dream role with Disney?
I’m honestly living it! But I’d love to someday perform in front of the castle or in an international park!

I just saw beetlejuice on broadway and honestly i enjoy listening to the soundtrack way more than the show :( the music is so fun its just not written well
