I recommend one that you can put oils in. Nothing beats the 140 dollar one I got from lowes I fill it with lavender and other essential oils and no smell after 1 hours of smoking. Also dramatically cut down on the headaches and sneezing.

The noise level depends on the 1-3 settings with how hard you want the machine to work. You can also upgrade the filters and get one better for pet hair and smells which is a must have in my home. I noticed the air seemed lighter and easier to breathe when running the machine for the first time. Works great every time. Highly recommended!

Because regardless of what make/brand you go with those filters are going to gank up and turn yellow and stank your house out. So swapping out filters regularly is your best bet. Obviously carbon being your friend for cig/weed smoke.

As a neighbor of a heavy smoker, my recent founding is that the smoke really has no respect of property ownership and it can easily travel through ventilation system/walls/electric outlet. That's actually why am I here, desperately looking for some sort of relief, so that I can have less of a headache. I understand that people just do their own thing, smoking or not, but at the same time, I am also truly disturbed by the invading smoke smell. Just to give you a perspective on how such smoke ban would make sense...
@@kerstiny4698 smoking inside definitely shouldn't be permitted. Especially if the different apartments share the same AC system. However a complete ban on smoking in the entire complex isn't really fair- as it requires hard working tenants to leave their own home just to smoke a cigarette which is not illegal
@@bigbanger7548 I understand. Some people can't go thru a day without smoking, some people can't live with the smell of smoke. When these two become neighbor with thin wall, there is a problem. I really hope that either the apt building has strict rules of smoking friendly/unfriendly, or there could be common smoking room inside the apt building, but with independent venting system... That way nobody should be living compromised.
