Super Robot Taisen W - Final Fight Part 1

The final battle with the Database. Firstly, there are two versions to this stage. One is with Inference as the final boss while the other has Critic as the final boss. I'm going with the stage where Critic is the final boss as there are more goodies.
Firstly, after beating Inference in the Scentia, Critic appears in the Sapientia and seemingly destroys Inference and the Scentia. Critic than summons 4 Scentia to his side, making him tougher to beat. Reinforcements than comes in the form of an unmasked Applicant in the Valarm with Inference, having made a backup copy of himself.
The final battle begins!!!
And the BGM for the final boss is "Eternal Memory" which in my opinion, is one of the best SRW boss themes that Banpresto has composed, along with "King Of Ruin".

I like how both Inference and Critic mentions how this universe's Getter hasn't fully awaken yet and it is a good thing as a fully awakened Getter(Referring to Getter Emperor) would destroy the entire universe.

Andy Yung Applicant is a cyber clone of Blessfield.
All the humanoid Database members are basically complex computer programmes that can have their consciousness transferred to another body if their current one is destroyed. Its much like Gundam 00 where they will continue to exist as long as the Database that stores their consciousness exists.

Romhacking Aerie, the guys who did the translation for J, showed us a preview screen of dialogue scene in W being translated, so I'm pretty sure it's well within their capabilities to do it. However, they're more focused on finishing up their current projects, and from the looks of it, disbanding.

La batalla final con DataBase. En primer lugar, hay dos versiones de esta etapa. Una de ellas es con la inference como el jefe final, mientras que el otro tiene a crític como el jefe final. Después de vencer a Inference en el Scentia, Crític aparece en el Sapientia y aparentemente destruye inference y al Scentia. Crític reune 4 Scentia a su lado, pero llegan los refuerzos: Applicant e Inference (quien hizo una copia de seguridad de el mismo) en el Valarm.

Ahh this good old stage, Pitty that at this point most my units had max dodge so it only took a year to wear the boss down... I'd put a meteor left and right for grunt control and make GGGG, Red frame powered, blastor blade and all the other heavy hitters go for the boss.

Nah, Sapientia is fine for a handheld final boss. Having that colossal gold menace charge at you is intimidating enough without a world-ending, reality-destroying final attack. I get scared when it actually manages to hit anything, since even my supers take something close to an OHKO from that claw energy bullshit.

@180223 Thanks, but I didn't figure out how to work it. Was it a special button or switch? Or did I just give it to the wrong characters (I gave a few to the ships thinking that, like in MX, the assist would come out from them).

Huh, how did you work calling in units from your ship as part of the attacks? (IE: Boss helping out Mazinkaizer when he's not deployed) Is that the second assist function? I never did figure out how to work that...

@Gerrreeeky You can't really compare bosses that became epic thanks to being on consoles that are graphically more superior that the poor DS. I bet you might change your mind if you see the Sapientia in console graphics.
