"Thus did man become the architect of his own demise!" I just love this track!! its just so futuristic. Please, can someone tell me, is it just me or does this song sample the start of Laura Brannigan's Self Control???
i love puffing marijuana smoke ,and get lost in its wavy patterns as this song plays ,i feel like a machine with CPU components every time i hear this beat, the siren is one i just cant describe as to how it came to be,fucking euphoria
Downloaded it from pirate bay. ''Animatrix Soundtrack'' But to be honest if you only want a couple of songs you like, try Limewire and just search them.
Does anyone think that the astrix in "Free*land" is supposed to represent what we always see in car ads when they place an astrix (*) next to some deal, which is telling you that you need to read the fine print? Fine print usually is telling you that what you are reading isn't exactly true. Maybe here, they are trying to tell us that we are told we are free, but when you read the fine print, you find out you are actually not. I hope the astrix wasn't a spelling mistake by the poster lol >.
@ChesterShinoda Seems like a strong possibility. Asteriks usually mean there's more to the deal than is presented, and that a fine print is present with terms and conditions. So yeah.
@Yoshmaista you dont know that, it may be not true, but that doesnt matter really. things are not always how you think they are when you first look at it. its nice to debate about those little things, keeps your brain busy ;)
@Yoshmaista I've seen some of his videos and it looks like he tries to do social commentary in at least some of his music. He probably things about this stuff.
i remember listening this track on loop when i was working during night on some project when i was on studies. knowing that everyone was sleeping. cool stuff
@ChesterShinoda You guys either smoke too much weed are are looking way too far into this. It's just an affectation. Adam Freeland's just an electro artist, not a political activist. Put the bong down.
This track is fire. Just picked the album up at a Goodwill and have been jamming it in my car everywhere.
The question is are you still jamming to it today?

Welcome to the Zion archive. You have selected historical file 12-1, The Second Renaissance.
In the beginning, there was man. And for a time, it was good.
"And thus did man become the Architect of his own Demise"
May there be mercy on man and machine for their sins.
We are fast moving toward self aware AI as automation and computer learning become more important.
@@TheAngryAstronomer May there not.
I love how the robots had hard hats. It's like...building them with harder heads was just too stupid.
Quizás también tienen microchips sensibles a golpes
I love the robot banging the drum to motivate the other robots, lmao. Such a fun lil detail
Listening in 2021. In the real world.
Listening but in the matrix.
01:53 the white noise is godlike. It blows my mind, every time.
I found it interesting how the matrix lead me to think in a way that really did help me free my mind.
Boy do I have a story to tell you.
My favorite joint from the Animatrix soundtrack.
Plus "Who am I."
I agree with both of you. So many years and this album aged very well.

Brings back some memories, good movie

Very existential
I love this video, the blend of music like that. It's pretty sweet.
Still cool in 2023
this song is so awesome, Animatrix was awesome too ^_^
I just downloaded the whole soundtrack, this is one of the best. It has a nice flow to it, works well as background music :)
2021, Second Renaissance is imminent. Right now, it looks like maybe we deserve it again.
adam freeland at his best...!
Next time you see a car ad in the newspaper, look for a little star or something next to a deal to see what I mean.
Bless all forms of intelligence...
