I ordered the same pipes for my 1100,was wondering if you took out the baffles? my bud has a vt 1000, he removed them and sounds great but loud

The bike looks fantastic especially with those pipes and the ape hangers! It might just be the microphone, but it has that pinging twang when it gets close to the microphone. I've heard that on other bikes occasionally. Not sure what causes it, or how to fix it. When the throttle is opened up, it sounds great.

Idle sounds a little too low + you won't get that good take off power

idle should be 950 to 1050

idle should be the exact rpm when if lowered with even 1rpm the engine dies :))... jokes aside.. this is not a HD that likes low oil pressures... anything below 800 will wear the engine due to no oil pressure and high friction
