Butzbach - Sehenswürdigkeiten der Friedrich-Ludwig-Weidig-Stadt

Im Mittelpunkt unseres Besuchs in Butzbach (Wetteraukreis - Hessen) stehen das Landgrafenschloss, die gotische Markuskirche, die Wendelinskapelle, die Stadtmauer mit Hexenturm sowie das Solmser Schloss. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Marktplatz mit altem Rathaus und Marktbrunnen.

Thank you for the video. I loved to walk around Butzbach when I was stationed in Kirchgooens. 1980 to 1982. The old roman wall and the fountain in the square. I loved to smell the wood smoke in the winter and the exposed timbers of all the buildings. I am glad to see the Army kaserne there was returned to the way it was. Lots of history from the romans, hessen soldiers being trained there. Hessen soldiers fought in Pennsylvania. There is a building still standing in Carlisle Pennsylvania that those soldiers built. There was a candy store that I loved to visit. The train system was one of the best I have ever used.

Great video! Thank you for sharing. I was stationed at "The Rock" and haven't seen Butzbach or Kirchgoens since 1985. Loved it there!
